  • Great ceiling fan for the price
Like: - The DC motor. I plan never to buy a unit without one. They are silent and powerful and use much less electricity. The Energy Star rating on this shows $4/year for electricity. - The unit is well designed, and relatively easy to install. But plan on at least an hour. And having two people really helps. If your ceiling isn't set up for a fan the prep will be the big part of the installation. If you aren't confident as a DIYer or aren't just replacing another ceiling fan, you might want to hire a professional. - Six speeds, choice of light color. We use 4000K lighting through the house and can set this to 4000K. - The light is plenty bright. - The 1H, 2H, 4H and 8H timer buttons. I hope they work. I will find out later today. Dislike: - Even though the fan is in a room that is 22x26, it is unlikely that we will need to use anything other than the lowest of six settings. Setting six would be more appropriate to power an airplane than move air in a room, or maybe just to be able to advertise the power of the fan. So keep setting six as it is, but dial down the other settings, making the current setting 1 the new setting 2. - To change the temperature (color) of the light, you have to press the light ON button, then OFF button, then ON button until you get your choice of the three colors. I should just be able hit the light button again, without turning it off each time. Or better yet, just have a switch that has the three lighting temperatures settings on it so you can set it and leave it. - The light can't be dimmed using their setup out of the box. I am not sure if it wold be possible to set the light portion on a dimmer switch, but it would require some additional electrical know-how or willingness to taking a risk with trial and error. - The advertised distance from ceiling to bottom of the light are wrong. Try 14" rather than the 9.4" advertised, using the short extension. The 8000 degree K light color temperature is also wrong. I think they just added 3000K + 5000K to get 8000K, but that is not how it works. The third setting 'full light' (which appears to be the same brightness) matches our other 4000K lights. - The company label, proudly displayed, did not match my taste. Fortunately it is just glued on and can be removed. - The 1H, 2H, 4H and 8H timer buttons, while a nice feature, give no indication that it is set to timer other than a beep with initially pressed. - Using the controller is a bit of a guessing game (or maybe the instructions tell you how to do what). I used instructions for installation, but assumed that the controller should be easy enough to figure out without reading a manual. Yes, with all the dislikes, I still gave it 5 stars. I really like the fan and can learn to live with the flaws. ... show more

  • Quiet, Smart app controllable, nice wind flow, with some cons
Color: 56'' Matte Black Size: 56 Inch
Pro: + contemporary looks and design + matte black color + quiet DC motor, save energy and $ in the long run + good wind speed + dimmable light, light color adjustable, good brightness Con: - bad installation instruction, bad grammar (should be revised by someone with good english) - light can not completely off (there is still a very dim light after turn it off with remote) ... show more

  • Quiet and Moves a Lot of Air
Color: 56'' Matte White Size: 56 Inch
I've installed 2 of these in the last week. What I like: sleek, modern look. Very quiet operation. Moves a lot of air. Good range of light color and brightness. Easy to control from both the remote control and the phone app. What could be improved: I found the best operational choice to be to leave the wall switch always on and to control the fan from the remote control. I actually used the phone app from a different brand of similar fans that I already had. Choosing Manual Pairing/Small Appliance/WiFi Fan worked every time. As with most ceiling fans, the fit is pretty tight. A right-angle screwdriver really helps with the shroud screws and tucking all the wires in around the remote sensing/power converter unit is a bit of a challenge. I succeeded by tucking as much of the AC wires back up into the box as possible and coiling the fan wires and tucking them under the sensing/power unit. ... show more

  • Sweet fan.
I hardly ever give 5 star reviews but I figured if I give a bad review for a bad product then I should give a good review for a good product. I was more than pleasantly surprised after my husband and I put this fan up. It was easy to assemble and really lightweight. I was skeptical about getting a white fan with a white ceiling but when I see it up and spinning I'm pretty glad I got the white. The 4 blades make it look modern and stylish. I was also skeptical about the LED lights but I was really happy with the amount of light that bad boy puts out. And the wind, OMG! It's wonderful. Exceeded my expectations. And so quiet. We didn't even have to balance it, it just goes and stays pretty level, no wobbling. The remote beeping is a little annoying but for the pros that the fan has, we decided we can deal with the beeps. Figuring out how to start the fan with the remote was also a little tricky but we figured it out and are really happy with the look and the performance. We will see how long it lasts. ... show more

  • Great little ceiling fan
I like this ceiling fan. A lot of what I was finding that was dark had too much of an industrial feel to it, so finding this was great. It is a little guy, but the room I have it in is also little, so it works out. One thing that I noticed was that the light would not default to my last setting, so the company sent me a new remote and receiver. I have yet to reinstall that, though. It does make a bit of noise when up on the higher settings, so I usually don’t take it up past setting 4. I don’t know if this is due to the size, space, or what, but it’s a thing in my house. I’m overall happy with it as I love the style and even on the lower settings it can move some air quite a bit. If only I could figure out which way it’s supposed to spin to move the air the right way… ... show more

  • Great Ceiling Fan
When we bought our house there were ceiling fans in the vaulted ceilings in the livingroom and diningroom. They were ok, but it was difficult to reach them to clean, change lightbulbs and fan directions.. then the light cord broke so we could only use them with the lights off.... whiich just wasn't working. I did some searches at the local Lowes and Home Depot, but just couldn't find what would work for us. Then I searched on Amazon and found these. They are wonderful, the light is LED and covered so no bugs inside it is a plus. There are multiple settings for the light from dim to bright and we just love that feature not to mention the remote control that manages lighting and fan speed/direction. It's just awesome. The fan has 6 speeds... #4 will blow you away, but it's also whisper quiet! Highly recommend! ... show more
