Not sure why people say it is difficult to put together. Super easy. Good instructions with images. I love that the lamp gives a total new look to the area were we install it. The first one delivered had a broken faulty wire, which is we had not discovered it would have been a fire hazard. The second one, was in good shape and we installed it in our bedroom for a mid century modern look. It is big for the price and definitely a statement piece.
