Okay so the lamp is very cute. The brass finish is really nice and isn’t orange like a lot of other faux brass finish things out there. HOWEVER. It’s quite short. Unless this lamp is for a child or someone who is on the very short side, you will most definitely need to utilize that extender. I’m 6’ tall and have 10’ ceilings so I would have preferred this lamp to be a couple inches taller. And, not the biggest deal, but the lightbulb it came with is absolute garbage. It’s honestly comical how poor this lightbulb is, so make sure you have some good ones on hand! ... show more

The pull cord to turn the lamp on only worked once. Fortunately I used a smart bulb so I don't need it. Very cheap shade. The base is not level. Don't notice so much on carpet but very obvious on tile. Update: the company has contacted me and is making things right with this product.
