The machine works great but the most annoying thing is that it makes you wait on it to pre-heat because it won’t let you choose a pour until it is done pre-heating, so it does NOT give you the ability to leave it pre-heating then automatically pour when it’s done, you need to wait for it to pre-heat then you are able to press the pour button when it is done, which can be quite a while, and it only stays on for a specific amount of time that is NOT customizable, and so when I come back to it to make more after some time, I have to wait on it to pre-heat again.

Love this little machine. Way easier to use than my old typical espresso machines. Only downside is that when I programmed the cup portion sizes it works a few times then reverts back to the original portion sizes. That is the only downside. People say it’s loud. It’s not quiet but it’s not obnoxious either. I would buy again. But wish the program would keep. So 4 stars instead of 5 I would give it if the program stayed how I wanted it. And yea I followed the instructions.

This coffee machine is perfect. It does everything a Nespresso does and costs half of the price. It is a beautiful appliance, easy to clean, and noise level is acceptable. Works perfectly with Nespresso capsules. I would definitely buy it again!

This clone of the more expensive proprietary Nespresso Originaline machines is every bit as good. I just retired my Nespresso CITIZ after years of service and decided to try it because of the price point. It is well made, does not feel or look cheap. It does make noise. All espresso machines do. It's the nature of the pump. This one does not make significantly more noise than my old Nespresso CITIZ. And the coffee is superb. Hot with a nice layer of crema. There is an adjustment feature where you can specify how many ml of coffee you want produced for each cup, either espresso or lungo. The water reservoir is graduated in milliliters with a capacity of 700. If you're more used to measuring in ounces that's about 24oz.

We recently stayed in a hotel that provided nespresso in the room rather than just standard coffee. My husband turned into an espresso monster and after coming home all he wanted was an espresso machine. I didn’t want to go expensive because I wasn’t sure if it was just a passing phase or if he was going to stick to this new passion. This machine is a perfect balance between quality and price. I remember a lot of reviews stating how loud it was, and honestly, it really isn’t that bad. Maybe if you live in a studio or small apartment without separation between rooms the noise would be worse, but I’ve never noticed it in the mornings and hardly during the evenings. When it comes to the flavor production of the unit, we aren’t in tune enough with espresso and what makes it good versus bad to judge the unit on that. Overall the espresso comes out tasting great and strong. My husband’s only critiques are that the empty pod reservoir is small and needs to be dumped frequently and that there needs to be a low water indicator on the unit so a pod doesn’t get wasted when there isn’t enough and he forgets to check.
