  • Corms Look Like They Should
Color: Mixed Color
When I saw the photos of these Peony and Ranunculus flowers in bloom, I wanted to try growing some of my own. I ordered the corms, and they arrived dried out in a little box printed with flower illustrations. The box does not contain instructions but has a QR code you can scan. I also looked on the item's sale page and found some instructions buried kind of deep in the listing. I haven't been able to plant these yet since it is still winter, but I will start them in pots indoors soon. Once I get them growing, I will post some pictures! ... show more

  • Mix bag of surprise to grow
Color: Mixed Color
These are shipped in a box inside of a bubble mailer and it still got crushed. Parts of the corms were all over the bag. Might want to shift over to using a bag instead of the box. Those paper bags that you can use as a weed barrier liner in the hole the plants go in to? It'd be ecofriendly and cut down on waste. The bulbs are in good shape, healthy, not too dry. Planting them to see what happens by the spring. Hopefully they will look pretty in a container on the porch. They require full sun, 6+ hours. • Big healthy corms with good instructions
Color: Mixed Color
My other ranunculus are already coming up (it's only February, but we live in Southern California), so I went ahead and got these started. You can see that they plumped up nicely during soaking. If you haven't planted ranunculus before, there's a QR code on the package that takes you to some really good instructions. Ranunculus are SO worth it. The first time I saw one of the flowers and realized that I, too, could grow these, I was hooked. Mine don't always survive from year to year, but I know a lot of gardeners who treat them as annuals and plant new corms each year. And at this price, it won't break the bank. It will be a while before I can tell you what these actually look like when they bloom, but for now, they look healthy and robust. They're good-sized corms (I've planted hundreds of ranunculus, and these are the size they should be), with almost no breakage during shipping. I'm super pleased. ... show more

  • Nice Healthy Looking Corms
Color: Mixed Color
I’m a ranunculus newbie, so when these little alien looking ‘bulbs’ showed up I was shocked! Apparently they are supposed to look like creepy little octopuses though. Ha! This box of corms look nice and healthy to me. There’s 6 just as advertised. It’s about a month too early for me to start any planting, but these look like they will do great to me. The box doesn’t have any planting instructions, but does have a QR code you can scan for info. I just searched and found a lot of useful info about planting. It would be nice if the original box came with an insert or something. This will be my first time planting ranunculus and I’m excited. Hurry up spring! ... show more

  • Hopeful
Color: Mixed Color
So far,no germination/sprouting but I’m holding out hope as they looked great. I soaked them for 12 hours but out unusually cold season may be delaying them.
