Bought this for my 8 year old cousin as a gift. It was a lot thinner than I anticipated (almost like they forgot to add the filling for the blanket and just sent the outer layer), but it actually turned out to be ok since she lives in Texas. Thinner just means not as hot so she can use it more throughout the year. The color was nice and I feel like it was pretty true to what they show in the pictures. It was soft and also a lot larger (area-wise) than I realized.
