    • Great Jean...but little wide in the calf for me

I am 5'2 and 230 which means I fall into that horrible category for weirdly shaped clothes as designers think if we are plus size we have calves as wide as our thighs..... Being on the hunt for new jeans I stumbled on the WallFlower brand. I thought what the heck I'll try these. I of course then ordered a bunch of both the 16 and 18 in both the regular and short length. The 18 ran a little large on my frame and the 16 in both the short and regular fit my body well. The 16 short however was both shorter in the crotch to waist area as well as the leg and when I sit down I don't want the top of my bum hanging out, so while I loved the length in the leg it just wasn't going to work. The 16 reg fit my bum just fine and while the length is too long I am used to getting ALL my pants shortened so thats what will happen. The only downside with this cut of pant is that it's supposed to be bootcut, but it's too wide of a calf for me. I did end up keeping two pairs which I will wear as a more "boyfriend" style cut with the legs cuffed (after getting a little cut off). That being said I then stumbled on their SKINNY version and am in LOVE with this. Nice tapered calf and even the 16Reg I could actually get away without shortening since there isn't massive amounts of extra fabric around by calves. ... show more

They’re super comfortable thanks to the Insta Stretch denim, which has just the right amount of give without losing its shape throughout the day. The mid-rise fit is flattering and sits perfectly, not too high, not too low and the curvy cut really hugs in all the right places without feeling tight. I also love that they’re size-inclusive, making it easier to find a great fit no matter your body type. The bootcut style is classic and pairs well with both sneakers and boots. These jeans fit amazingly! I bought the Twinkle color, size 16 Regular length bootcut jeans. I am 5'4" and weight 180 lbs (ugg). I typically wear a 14 in most pants but sized up just because.... They are not tight, but very comfy. Once they are washed & dried, they will tighten up perfectly! The length is perfect for my cowboy boots too, just shy of touching the ground. They have a slight stretchiness to them & feel wonderful on. The price was great! I bought a pair of non-stretchy boot cut jeans from my local western wear store & paid double what I paid for these jeans. ... show more

These are cute and comfy, BUT if you're short, get the SHORT length and don't worry about looking like you're waiting for a flood. LOL. (I mean I'm assuming since the regular is so long). Im only 5'2" and usually regular length fits fine, but these are quite long and drag a little on the ground even after washing and even with shoes on. Additionally, they seem to run big. I typically wear size 16 but could've got a 14 and will when these start slipping off. They're loose enough I don't have to unbutton or unzip them to put them on or take them off. These pants are the hardest pants to fit the body. They were way too long but fit the waist. Went a size up they were way to tight and absolutely no fit. Went to a petit length finally perfect but had to chose a larger size. WOW ! I tried 4 different sizes. The reason I did they are a nice feel and color. I'm not one to wear jeans but thought it would be nice to have at least one pair. ... show more
