Just arrived and opened it. Assembly was not some great feet requiring a masterclass skill in machinery. Took all of 5mins. Watch the video in the description as the picture in manual is not the greatest. Batteries came almost fully charged. 1 in the port and 1 in a box. Blades are small, like you look at it and the machine and think to yourself... Why did I buy this smh. 8:30 pm cst took it outside to check it out. Hmmm impressed with the power, Love the weight, Very quite but who really cares about that, It cuts quickly and thoroughly so yay! It is dark so I used the blade guard. It gives a 1" space between blade and whatever guard hits. But only directly in front of the guard. Sides are another story so take care. I can't speak about the Battery life... Durability... or run time at all. Like I said, I just opened it up. After 10mins of use I don't feel cheated. Time will tell. I will update in a week or 2 with progress. So far so good. I got this for my airbnb, to trim spots between cuts & tidy up before a guest arrives. It is strong. I've only used the midrange 3-blade attachment so far, the plastic one looked kinda weak & i haven't needed the saw one yet. It cuts thick branches easily & I've trimmed my whole yard with it. It's light & easy to handle. I keep the extra battery charged & ready. My only complaint was the difficult assembly with one part. I almost sent it back. My handyman struggled & cussed but finally got it together. There's a part already put on that shouldn't be, and it's hell to get it off. He did not want to cut through the black plastic guard like others did & compromise the protection. So have someone ready to help with that. Amazon support was no help over the phone & couldn't reach seller. ... show more

I was skeptical. Setup wasn’t nearly as bad as I was anticipating. I was really happy with how easy it was to mow down weeds. Using the metal blades, it handled thicker stems with ease. I haven’t attempted changing out the blades yet, but I’m hoping for smooth sailing. I appreciate that it comes with a backup battery. ... show more

    • Light weight-easy to assemble
It is light weight and easy to assemble. Never used the plastic blades because I knew they would be worthless against the thick brush I was battling. Works well if diameter of brush is not too wide, otherwise all you are going to do is dull blade. Probably would work better as a maintenance tool rather than trying to clear an area that had been ignored way too long. ... show more

No string to tangle or fight with. Just small metal blades or a single blade well protected so that you can get right up next to your plants and not damage anything. The batteries last a long time and it works like a charm. For such a lightweight little thing it's great. I love it and I'm 83 years old with precious little strength in my arms.     • Poor assembly instructions, but works great!
Not even sure how well it works as I cannot get through the assembly. Video and book are useless. Finally got the protective cover on, upside down, hope it works. Cannot comprehend step 5 at all to “jam the spiral shaft and tighten metal base”. We shall see…….I edit my review to a 4.5 as customer service reached out to me; instructions are very poor, but the actual performance is great!     • Worth every penny
I love how easy it is to set up. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble. Batteries last for longer than the 20 minutes the description suggests. Only complaint I have is that if you’re doing a large area holding the button to keep it running can cause your hand to cramp up. But it also could be user error as I hadn’t used a weed waker before. Absolutely love the metal saw blades they cut through the thickest weeds and overgrowth I had in my yard and let me tell you it was THICK, hadn’t been mowed in about 2 months.
