All the aesthetics of an old school cruiser with modern gear shift (got the six speed with rack). I had a problem with my rack where the screw wouldn’t fit because the perforated hole wasnt a full hole. I was able to fix that. This wasn’t an easy assembly and was a little time consuming. All parts were wrapped and protected from damage. Box wasn’t that heavy, surprisingly. I’m on the strong side tho, So a buddy lift wouldn’t be a bad idea. So far so good. ... show more

All the right parts were in the box that arrived mostly intact - two small punch holes in the cardboard box and no damage at all. It was easy to assemble and adjust and the paint job, purple, is great. After reading some earlier reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about this product. Front Fender and Rear Rack are both bent and can't be attached. The top mount on the fender is supposed to be straight, but is bent at an angle, and the silver parts are super not centered. The space between the front mounts on the rack are too far apart, and I can't attach both sides to the bike. I reached out to Glerc last week and have yet to hear back aside from their automated "We received your message!" Amazon doesn't offer replacement parts, only a return, and I don't want to do the Amazon Shuffle where I get a new Bike B, exchange the broken parts from Bike A with Bike B, and return the unassembled Bike B. They're heavy, and the packaging is unwieldy. If it's like Bike A I'd have to unpack most of Bike B, and I don't know if I'd be able to get it back in the box. So I guess I'm stuck with a bike that functions well enough, but it's missing some of the pieces. It's cheap enough that I guess I'll just live with it. Maybe I'll be able to get someone to bend the pieces back into being useable. :/ Other than that, the bike is cute, the right size for me to learn to ride on, and I managed to assemble it by myself (broken hands, know nothing about bikes) in about an hour following the booklet. The chain was not connected to the pedals when I pulled it out of the box, but it was relatively easy to get it back on the gear. ... show more

    • Major Flaw - Bent Axle?

The media could not be loaded. Just finished assembling the bike and noticed something while tuning the rear derailleur. The axle seems to be bent so the cassette wobbles when free wheeling. Also, had to loosen the ball bearing cone as it was tightened way too tight. So what now....do I have to disassemble and try to get the bike back in the box? It was surprisingly well packaged, but that means it's going to be a nightmare getting everything to fit back in the box. ... show more

We got my daughter this bike in pink for her 10th birthday. Aesthetically the bike is adorable and assembly was not hard at all but unfortunately that’s about where it ends. The quality of this bike leaves a lot to be desired especially given the price point. The biggest issues we have is that the front metal wheel cover was clearly manufactured wrong and hits the tire every time she rides. We eventually had to remove it to prevent it from hitting the wheel and causing both steering and noise issues. The chain falls off at least every other time she rides. And the kicker today was that the hand brakes suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason at all and because it’s a gear bike there are no back brakes. This safety issue means I can no longer let her use it. She rides to and from school daily and crosses multiple streets. There’s no way I can in good conscience just let her keep using it. I bought my other August birthday baby a Schwinn bike from Target that was nearly $100 cheaper than this bike and that bike is worlds better in terms of quality. I fell for the aesthetics of this bike bc she loved the color and cruiser style but I would not recommend this bike at all for very clear quality control/safety issues. ... show more
