I should have looked more closely at the size of each item. My husband is the baker in our house so it was for father's day. He makes a German chocolate cake but he makes it in the small square pan. It turned out wonderful. Cooked perfectly even but it was so tall. I asked why he didn't use the cake pan. He says it was too big. I assumed the set would have average sized pans. Uh oh, not a 9×13 cake pan but larger. Remember I don't bake if your laughing. They are a nice sturdy set just check the sizes. They are dishwasher safe but we hand wash them. I like the red rubber grabs on them, keeps me from burning myself. The non stick coating is very effective and super easy to wash. They don't seem easy to scratch but I couldn't tell you. The red handles are oven-safe but not to extremely high heat. Oven mitts are still recommended because the bottom of those red plastic/rubber-like handles are held in place in a small series of holes, and your fingers on the bottom side might not like that! First of all these pans are beautifully made, with the smoothest surface. It comes with a 3 yr warranty when you register the product and, get this, they even send you a little gift just for registering! I don't know what it is yet, maybe some measuring spoons or parchment paper, lol. But the point is, this company really seems to value their customers. It stores so conveniently in my bottom oven tray, you know, the part where it's supposed to keep food warm but EVERYONE uses it as storage? 😂 They also include a pamphlet with a kitchen conversion chart. For the price point, this can't be beat! My old pans looked like I had baked on it since I was born...and I'm 46. These pans are okay. The biggest one started to warp one month in when I baked focaccia bread. It browned evenly (even heat distribution) but wish it was sturdier. The nonstick coating seems to be holding up well against scratches and stains. Plus side is I don’t need to use parchment paper for cookies and sheet cakes anymore! ... show more
