Out of the box- Build quality seems excellent. Style and fit and finish are great. Everything went together fine. All hardware was included but could get confusing if you have never assembled a bike. The basket was a bit of a challenge with the front reflector, but it worked out OK. The doll seat mounts to the seat pole, so you have to raise the seat up quite a bit to install it. I had to go back and raise the handlebars to match the seat height. The instructions are a little vague, with NO fender instructions. Plan to look at the Amazon photos, especially on the reflectors, fenders, and doll seat, it will make your life much easier. Front brakes on bicycles are never easy to adjust quickly, it takes time and patience. Once dialed in, they worked fine. Overall, the bike appears to be no different than larger brand names, and it's as cute as can be. We'll see how it operates tomorrow, but I don't expect any issues. ... show more

It comes mostly pre-assembled, and the remaining setup is simple—just attach the handlebars, seat, and training wheels. All the parts lined up perfectly, which isn’t always the case with kids’ bikes. The included training wheels feel sturdy and keep the bike stable for beginners, and the handlebar basket and little rear doll seat are sweet touches that kids love. The seat is nicely padded and easily adjustable as your child grows. The 12-, 14-, and 16-inch options make it easy to pick the right size, and the handbrakes and coaster brake combination help kids learn safe stopping without frustration. This bike exceeded all my expectations! It came packaged very well. Assembly was pretty easy and quick. The sturdiness of the bike is great. The bike looks exactly like the picture “Beautiful” my granddaughter LOVES it. She’s 4 and I purchased the 14”. I highly recommend this bike!

The bike came in pieces and required assembly. It did come with a 'wrench' of sorts that allows you to put it together without extra tools. The one thing with assembly is that the instructions are kind of vague, especially with the doll seat. Also, with the doll seat mounted the seat can not go down all the way. Could be an issue if the child is on the smaller side of the size range for this. Overall quality is OK, the bearings for the pedal assembly feel a little crunchy and need more lubrication that what they come with ... show more

Like most reviews on here, these bikes are very cute.. but the assembly is a headache. My husband is good at assembling anything and he had a heck of a time working on these bikes. We have 2 daughters and thought these would be great Xmas gifts. When he finally got them together, the brakes were loose and one of the bikes was so hard to ride. My daughter couldn’t peddle because the chain would get stuck and my husband is still trying to figure out why. I would recommend getting a different brand. They look adorable but not worth the hassle. I’d pay a little extra for a better/trusted brand. ... show more
