  • Indestructible
Style: 26" Denim Blue
This bike is great. I bought this thinking it would last the summer, and here I am still hauling my now 6 year old in a trailer behind it 3 years later. Sure, some of the gears are slipping a bit now, brakes don't work. But for the price you get a very solid platform. I plan to put an electric motor on this thing and drive it to my grandkids graduation one day! ... show more

  • Perfect trail cruiser with a few upgrades
Style: 26" Matte Black
The media could not be loaded. I’m a bigger guy (6’ 240lbs) and this bike has been great so far. I was worried it would fall apart after a few runs but it has held up great for well over 2 dozen rides. It took a bit to get the gears shifting properly but i have them dialed in now with no hesitation or skipping EVER which surprised me. 3 things I would recommend: First I bought a nice wide, soft seat which makes a huge difference as the stock one is like sitting on a skinny rock. Second I bought wider, longer hand grips. My hands were hanging off sides of the ones that came stock. Lastly, and what helped me enjoy this bike the most was upgraded metal spiked pedals. The stock ones are plastic and my feet were sliding off them constantly especially on wet days. Probably spent a total of 75 bucks on all the upgrades and it was well worth it. I’m not jumping off any cliffs or anything just cruising through the bumpy woods and this bike has been perfect for that. ... show more

  • Not a good bike.
Style: 24" Indigo
May 2020: My 10 year old (4'10, 80 lbs) had outgrown and worn out her 3 yr old 20" bike. I was torn between getting a 24" or 26", decided on this 24" bike. Assembling it wasn't very difficult (there is an easy-to-follow how-to video showing step by step how to put the bike together....the video is about 18 minutes long, it took me about an hour, but that was re-watcing a few things and having to re-do a couple things to get it right). It's a great fit for my daughter even with the seat all the way down, so plenty of room for her to grow on this bike...even my 5'7", 230 frame could comfortably ride this bike. Edit: July 2021 (just over one calendar year—bike was NOT USED for probably about half that time due to weather, the bike needing repair or my daughter being grounded and not allowed to ride) Just over a year later, this bike is heading to the trash because I’m tried of speeding enough on upkeep that all together could buy a GOOD bike. After the initial assembly, the handlebars kept coming loose every time my daughter rode. I’d tighten them and they’d come loose again 10 minutes later. I accused my daughter of getting into my tools & messing with it because I’d get it as tight as I could and they’d still come loose as soon as she began riding. I finally fixed that problem with a new bolt. The gears have never really shifted right, but for a 10 - 11 year old riding mostly flat terrain, that wasn’t a big concern of mine. I never could keep the rear derailleur guard on, finally took it off completely. Not a big issue s as it wouldn’t affect the bike operation, just have to be careful about loading it in a car or it falling over on its side. The brakes were questionable, but as my daughter wouldn’t be stopping / slowing going down steep grades I wasn’t too worried about it, adjusted them the best I could and they were acceptable for flat terrain riding. Now the front derailleur is broken making the bike UN-RIDEABLE. Roughly 7 months of use, LOTS of repairs & upkeep and the bike is no longer going to be having me sink money into one thing just to have something else break. ... show more

  • Pretty standard bike
Style: 26" Matte Black
It's a decent bike. The video was very informative for assembly and adjustments. Adjusting the front brake took me some time to figure out how to get it just right but eventually I got it. Luckily the back brake didn't need any adjusting. The gears could propbably use some adjusting but they still work when shifting so I just left them alone for now. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because of price. I just dont feel like any standard mountain bike should cost over $200. Also the seat sucks lol. Definitely need to invest in a better seat if you want the rude to be comfortable. ... show more

  • Mediocre quality
Style: 20" Metallic Cyan
The frame of the bike is good and my son is enjoying it. The bike is not the highest quality though, and I expect it will not last more than a year with as often as my son uses it. The front wheel was slightly bent out of the box, which made adjusting the front brakes a real joy. Most annoying is that the handlebar/steering arm will not stay in place, no matter what. Every time my son drops the bike with even mild firmness, the handlebar gets misaligned. The manual says to be careful about overtightening, and I heeded that advice initially. Unfortunately, I have found that even cranked down at max strength, the handlebars still won't reliably stay in alignment. I have concluded it's the result of a poor fit and cheap fasteners. Same issue with the seat. Oh and the clearances on the kickstand are so tight thst my son has trouble raising and lowering it. I plan to fix that with a Dremel. Next time I'll spend the extra money on something with a little better build quality. ... show more

  • Great value if it’s on sale
Style: 26" Cloudy Gray
For someone that does casual biking, this thing is awesome. I got it on sale and it’s amazing on gravel and pavement, so far that’s all I’ve tried it on but it handles likes champ. I used to be a bike builder so putting it together was extremely straight-forward, although I put together two of these and both had the pieces for the seat clamp sprawled all over the bottom of the box; very lucky they stayed in the box even with being shipped all the way over to Hawaii. The seat isn’t that comfortable but that’s what to expect from a cheap bike, and you can always swap it out for whatever seat fits what you’ll use it for. Gearing needed to be adjusted just slightly, and works great even on bumpy terrain. I’m about 220 pounds so I tightened up the tail spring a good amount and it glides over bumps, fantastic deal. ... show more

  • Love this bike so much
Style: 26" Matte Black
comfort is key when it comes to riding. The seat on this Huffy bike adjustable and well padded. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood, and I must say, it provided a comfortable ride. The handlebar grips are also soft and easy to hold, making longer rides more enjoyable.”
