The ATB saddle, with premium padding, has stitched sides for lasting comfort. Front suspension on this mountain bike handles uneven terrain with ease. Well packaged, and overall good quality. My only complaint is that the bike is very heavy for a six year old to handle . He will get used to it, and enjoy the ride! I would recommend it very highly to prospective buyers!!!

For my son's 9th birthday. First speed bike and is flying to and from school. Easy 30 min set up. Almost impossible to get seat tightly in place so it won't move going over a big bump.

I decided to start my daughter off correctly (for the real world) and get her a mountain bike style bike. (It having hand brakes and 6 speed shifter) It is her first bike. I figure if she gets good at this, it won't be difficult to train her AWAY from the styles that peddle backwards for brakes. Well, it worked fantastic! She never fell once and only hit the wrong brake ONCE. I simply detuned the front brake 30-40% less effective and that bike still stops on a dime! It is a very well made bike, very sturdy, and was a snap to put together. I'm also very happy about the derailed guard. It has some significant wear in 3 months, but derailed looks like new. I would urge any mom/dad to buy this bike. I would, however, suggest they get some flashing LED lights and put them on. The kid will love them and you get some peace of mind your are making poopkins way easier to see! ... show more

What a hunk of junk this bike is. It’s a shame, because I had higher hopes. For starters, this bike is extremely difficult to assemble, even for somebody with experience assembling other bikes. Secondly, the parts are very cheap and poorly made. After finally wrestling with the assembly process, the bike was written three times before it became defective. The brake wire somehow disappeared From the brakes. It just snapped right and half and fell off. So now the bike is useless and I will likely be returning it. It should be noted that I got this bike when it was on sale for $60. I see it is nearly 200 now. that is a rip off, even $60 was more than somebody should pay for this bike. Avoid ... show more
