Assembly would have been quick and simple however there was several stripped out threads like 1 of the peddles and the front tire axel bolt was cross threaded. The keeper washer for the front tire was bent and needed fixing. That said after the bike was assembeled it worked great and i am glad i bought it. At 6'2" it was a good fit, power was good and i have not tested the battery life yet i believe from riding in the neighborhood it will be fine for my purposes. ... show more

Not as described. No shifters, derailers or chain tensioner. Just one gear. No spring seatpost. No rear reflector. Charger gets way to hot. Front shocks suck and top out, other than that it's fine. Display cant be tightened. The funhang is way better for the same money.

    • Great lock, easy to change the combo!
I got this mainly for quick stops and light security use, and it works fine for that purpose. The cable length is about what I would expect for a lock like this, and it is enough to comfortably loop through my gear without feeling too short. I really like that the bike mounting holder was included. It makes it easy to carry the lock while riding and keeps it from getting in the way. The self coiling design also helps keep things neat when stored. The wire itself feels pretty thick, and it gives the impression it would be difficult to cut, which adds some peace of mind for short stops. Setting the combination was straightforward, and the instructions were sufficient. I like that it uses a 5 digit code since it makes it harder to guess, although I do hope I don’t forget it. Overall, it’s a convenient lock for everyday use and quick stops, but I would still treat it as light security rather than heavy duty protection. ... show more

    • Decent Basic 5 Digit Combo Locks for E-bikes, E-Scooters, Bikes, Etc.
This is a pretty good bike lock. I recently got an electric scooter. I wanted something to lock it up if I ride it somewhere and need to lock it up outside or something. I figured this lock would do the trick. It is pretty basic and straightforward use. You can set your own 5 digit combination code. It is a decent lock for the money. I wouldn't lock anything up next to a chop shop though. If you live in a city, high crime area or are going to be leaving your e-bike, bike, e-scooter, whatever ride-on vehicle you are using for a long amount of time completely unattended, I would get something stronger which means unfortunately more money, especially if whatever you are locking up is valuable. Even in suburban areas people are getting their stuff stolen. Times are tough and people get desperate. I personally am looking for something that is stronger. Perhaps one of those cuff locks. This is fine for the meantime. You should get the best lock you can reasonably afford. If this is all you can afford, it's still a pretty good lock for the money, but can be cut through by theives pretty easily. I know someone who had their e-bike stolen by someone going around cutting locks and selling them to an unscrupulous shop. Luckily, he also had hidden an android bluetooth tracking device on the e-bike. It was in a good spot and went unnoticed. He was super lucky and was able to track it to the shop it wad sold to with the police and get it back. So if you use this lock, I would use it in conjunction with one of those little trackers. You can get an off brand generic one for 20 bucks or less on Amazon. It's a decent lock if this is all you can afford, and is better than rolling the dice and using no lock. Not a good bet. Im not surprised with what I found but I expected better. Brakes can't be aligned out of the box. Constantly rubs and steals power. Very unsafe. Screws and bolts are missing parts aren't attached like they should be. Just a very bad unsafe experience. On top of that it's nowhere near 1500 watt.
