outstanding for the money!
Color: Black
I bought a pair of Sony bookshelf speakers at Goodwill for $10. These are decent sized and sound great; I have an identical pair I used for a home theater setup in the past. They are unpowered, so I needed some type of amp. In the past, I would have searched for a full-sized stereo receiver, but figured for the money I would try out one of these little cheapo amps, and this is the one I settled on. And WOW. I'm SO impressed. The speakers sound just as good as if they were powered by a full-sized traditional receiver. This unit is small, but the volume it cranks to with zero distortion is incredible. I do some side-work (mostly just for fun and as a hobby) with music production, and for just a cheapo garage setup I'm totally wowed. I hooked up an old Echo Dot to the auxiliary input, and now I have full Amazon Music and Alexa access that sounds WAY better than my $200 Echo speaker I have in my house. Truly makes working in the garage much more fun. And even better - it pairs easily with my phone if I want to use other apps (Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, etc.). It has a remote to just switch between sources, and when not used it drops the iPhone connection as it should so there is no fuss. Also has an SD memory card slot, FM radio, and of course a microphone / PA function that I probably will never use. But I know if needed I could take it along to an event, plug in a mic, and have a sound system that is WAY better than any bluetooth speaker is going to ever sound. Super impressed that it sounds this good, and that it has the power to really crank out the volume with very little distortion. A+ ... show more

good for intended purpose, good value
Color: Black
This is simple to operate. The volume, bass, and treble knobs work as expected, wired connections and bluetooth connection are all easy to set up. The sound quality is very acceptable after matching it with the right speakers. The 400 watts of power is joke, but then all amplifier makers seem to be doing that today. I would guess it puts out perhaps 5-10 watts RMS per channel, enough for home listening at moderate volume and good clarity. ... show more

Satisfied

Works great. I like the line out to drive a powered subwoofer. I wish the BT pairing chime wasn’t tied to audio volume. I use it at higher level and use the BT device to control volume. This makes the BT pairing chime REALLY loud.

Best amplifier ever
Color: Black
Great compact amplifier for home use! The Romicta AK50 Stereo Audio Amplifier delivers solid sound with its 400W output and easy Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. I love the versatility—FM radio, USB, SD card, and mic input all work smoothly. Setup is simple, and the audio quality is clear for the price. Perfect for small setups or casual listening. ... show more

Great sound- lasted less than 2 months :(
Color: Black
This did not even last 2 months with very little use. The sound was great when it worked, but not worth it to only last less than 2 months. Very disappointed as we waited until prime day to order to try and save some money and definitely did not expect it to last such little time. For purchasers, be advised there is no fuse to the unit itself, so I would put a fuse between the unit and the speakers IF this lasts longer than 2 months for any other purchasers. ... show more

Suitable Choice
Color: Black
The Romicta AK50 met my needs perfectly. No complaints. Love the Bluetooth. Connects smoothly and easily. The Bluetooth has a decent range so no complaints at all there as well. The unit is the ideal size that fits nicely in my TV stand in my formal living room. The 400 watts output is sufficient for my needs. I was not looking for an earth shaking output from my speaker. Make no mistake this little unit packs enough bass. The output from this amplifier is well balanced. Bass, treble comes out with smooth nice sounds with no distortions. I do play a lot of electronic type of music and this system plays it well. No complaints. Happy with my purchase of this unit. I highly recommend getting this amplifier if you are looking for something that is compact and delivers high quality sound. ... show more

Worked great
Color: Black
This is a lot of music in a small package. I was blown away how this amplifier was able to handle my bookshelf speakers. Great product for the money. I would not try this with large speaker. I would recommend this product.
