Exactly what I wanted. A super long handle for my Riptide trolling motor. Although I did not expect this thing to simply slip over and bolt on to the existing handle. Also the clasp is way too weak, so I fixed it with some stainless washers. Otherwise the clamp is gonna break if you tighten it too tight. The length adjustment clamp inside the tubing seems to work just fine. ... show more

I was sceptical about this. Works like a charm. Thought I have bought one too long - but keep in mind that if you are turning the motor you need the handle to be even longer. This is a fantastic, elegant, sturdy, simple solution to the trolling motors that come with what feels like a 6 inch handle.

Reason for 3 stars is product is cheaply made and is Ridiculous cost . I know broken record now about costs for products. Good news is that it grips very tight so u can use forward and reverse without loosing up . If this did happen I would drill and add pins in various locations. If this product was 20.00 bucks it would be worth it . ... show more
