Not too sure about this listing. Gave it a chance despite the reviews. Seems like they are sending out previously returned trolling motors. It was shipped right from Minn kota (Johnson outdoors) to Amazon then to me. So who knows how many people just allowed this broken used mangled box to be sent to me. I received my package and the box was destroyed looked as if it was taped back together on more than one occasion. With sharpie written on the box stating the package has once already been returned on 01/27/25. I connected it, and this motor was noisy and seemed have a shake to like a bent shaft. Disappointed in Amazon lately allowing third party’s to sell absolute junk through their website. Then to top it all off you have to wait 3 weeks to see your money back.. ... show more

    • CLUNKING ON THE MOTOR, STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX
There is a loud clunking noise coming from the motor shaft almost like the motor is loose. This is how it came straight out of the box.. this is my 2nd experience exactly like this with these cheap MINNKOTAS EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING Specially when now I have to cancel my fishing trip as I now have to wait for an exchange ... show more

Ordered first one, sounded like a meat grinder cutting aluminum straight out of the box. Thought “meh… try again”. Reordered, opened, hooked up… Exactly the same grind. Very disappointed to say the least.
