The shipping was very fast. I ordered the tolling motor late on Thursday the 23d and it arrived early Monday afternoon. Minn Kota is a well respected name in the trolling motor industry. There trolling motors are high quality and the only assembly is inserting the control handle into the housing which only requires removing a small pin wire from the handle support housing. Now all you have to do is firmly slide the control handle over the exposed support frame. You will hear a click when the handle is secure. Mounting onto your boat is a simple task that only needs you to make sure the mounting screws are opened far enough to slide over the transome. The depth control and turning control pieces allow the motor shaft to slide thru them quite easily. The motor is very solid. It connects to the battery without any difficult. The motor ran fine in both forward and reverse. I am looking forward to using this transome mount motor instead of the bow mount one I have used for 21 years. The easiness of tilting this motor up or down is a real plus for me. I highly recommend the motor and the dealer. Also there is plenty of power to move my 16' Smoker Craft with a 50hp Mercury engine. This motor is fantastic. Even though it’s the biggest tiller steer available, it doesn’t suck the battery down fast. It also pushes my ten foot Jon boat at a quick pace while loaded with me, my wife and all of our gear. It’s definitely the best trolling motor I’ve ever owned.
