I needed to add several ethernet connections on wiring that we did for our new house. I had used my pocket knife for a few connections but quickly realized that was a big pain. I ordered these strippers and they were such a life saver. I put this on the Cat 5 or 6 wire that I want to strip and rotate it once and it's. good to go. Occasionally, I would catch myself going around more than once and have cut some of the wires. If you likely use this stripper it should work perfectly for your job. Look, if you’re doing Cat5/6 cable enough to need one of these, one of your coworkers probably already has one. It’s just so much easier to use than the clunky stripping tool built into most crumpets, and in my experience cuts better. Buy a couple (it’s cheap) and always look like a pro.

It's not real flashy, but it's cheap. And it works. And I've got no complaints. For small jobs like my house, it'll work well. If I had to do a few hundred or thousand drops, it would probably break.

Very average tool. It sometimes makes it difficult to strip with due to a Somewhat dull blade. Its cheap and does the trick but does take a little linger than a better quality tool.
