I tried setting up this camera and right before it got to the register portion of the process, the camera disconnected. I haven’t been able to access the camera since. The camera has a mode and a power button, neither seem to do anything when it’s in this state. Holding down “mode” for several seconds is supposed to reset it but the camera just seems to be in a loop. The blue light blinks for about 5 seconds then turns off for about 5 seconds. It just keeps doing this and nothing I do changes that. I thought that maybe the camera is defective, so I exchanged it. The new one does the exact same thing. There is no way to vintage the seller or support that I can find.

It’s small if you have roommates and want to make sure that there’s nobody coming in your room while you’re gone. It’s a nice thing to have on hand!!!

Definitely not the easiest set up. Took me a bunch of tries, but finally got it to connect. You have to hold down the mode button once it's on the connecting screen to finish the job. Camera width view is super narrow. Battery life is very short so really needs to stay plugged in for practical use. Night vision doesn't work at all. The only thing that button does is change the video to black and white. Didn't keep the box so can't return. Oh well. Lesson learned.

The cameras work. It took me a minute to locate the app, but I was able to find it. Looks like the original manufacturer of the device app quit or closed down, but the app thankfully is still on the app store. I'll provide here some steps to get it working, Google the name of the app as displayed on the manual that comes with the IP camera. Then install it, and to sign up to the app... (US, don't know other regions). To create an account you need to signed up using your Gmail account. The other way to create an account doesn't work, you'll NEVER get the code, but Gmail way works. After you signed up with Gmail then you can reset the password by asking for a password reset. Basically it uses Gmail to create the account. I used a Gmail account just for the camera 😁, so they can have all the access they want LOL to that email account, all day and night long. Then after that you simply connect to the device and on your phone enable Bluetooth and location. For some reason you need this settings on for the first set up. After you connect to it with the app then you can disconnect Bluetooth. But you need location on to connect always. Once you get connected with the app then you can connect it to your network. I don't have it connected to anything (router or anything) and it works. It took me a while to figure it out how to do the sign up of the app. I even tried multiple apps and nothing worked only the one stated in the camera manual LOL, I thought it'd not work because initially I tried to do the direct sign up, and not the Google Gmail sign up. But almost when I was giving up decided to give it Gmail access and it worked 🤣.
