    • Nice little easy (portable) machine
I bought this little guy because I wanted to get back into sewing some baby items (small things!). Since I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it or want to keep sewing after initial projects, I figured this would be perfect. Small and easy to put away and not too intimidating to me or my youngest daughter. It actually is easy to work with and does sew a nice straight stitch. I was able to make a little outfit quite easily. Nothing complicated about it. Easy to wind bobbins, simple enough to thread. The reason for only 4 stars: It doesn't do a reverse stitch. So I had to turn the item around each time I needed to reverse (for holding stitches in place as not to unravel). Okay if item small enough, but kind of a pain even still. And since the machine is so light weight (which is a great feature!), it moves around a lot. Not enough to hinder me, but just a minor annoyance. Next time I will try to anchor it with a little "earthquake putty". For the price and the actual functionality - and the ability to carry around to put away - it is really a nice little machine. I love the Mini Sewing Machine! It's portable and very useful. I do plan to buy more to give it as a gift. My regular use on it is to sew on mini projects and fix up my clothes. I do recommend buying the Mini Sewing Machine, plus it's cute!!
