This mini projector is very portable. Lightweight yet not feeling cheap, it can (as pictured) project at a short throw QUITE well under far from ideal circumstances... on a non-white wall and under medium light conditions, the picture was sharp and bright. The sound maximum was not as high as I could have imagined, but absolutely adequate - and you're not relying upon your projector for big sound, anyways! What you get out of this is crisp and of good quality. The included remote is intuitive, well-designed, and solid. There's also an included power cable, HDMI cable, and RCA adapter. A removable and collapsible tripod is a nice feature... though the mounting point is too far forward on the device. This can be mitigated by orienting one of the three legs DIRECTLY backwards (so, the other two are balance at front-left and front-right). This is mildly awkward at first, and there is tipping risk if you don't place it right... but once you know the trick it's easily mitigated, so I didn't dock a star off the rating. The only other thing I could really wish this had was a carrying case. This seems an unfortunate oversight, and I'd like to see the next version of the device include a case of equal quality to the device itself... along with maybe slightly boosting the audio and bringing the tripod mount point backward, as previously mentioned. But the truth is, considering the price point, you're getting something of a steal. I'd buy this again for home and light travel use, and know that it'll work reasonably well even without being in a darkened room.

The media could not be loaded. The projector is good it is 1080p so the image quality is excellent and the projection is in full HD. In addition to being clear, the colors also pop through strongly, allowing you to vividly see every detail. In comparison to other projectors the fan noise is low. I was able to watch movies on the Netflix and Hulu app with great quality. I used the tripod that was included to get a good height. I had no problems with viewing any movie or show making its capabilities top-notch. Furthermore, the device is very straightforward and not at all difficult. If necessary, there is also a manual that is step-by-step. The projector's angle and clarity can also be altered when you want to view its projections. Whether you watch something with the lights on or off the projector works really well which is impressive. Overall It is really useful and I recommended it!

I'm using this to project pictures onto paper so I can trace the outlines and ensure that I will get the proportions of my drawings and paintings right, and it works well for that. You will need to put the pictures on a thumb drive, then navigate the menu to pictures. This will start a slide show of the pictures on the drive. Pause on the desired picture, and trace. It comes with a small tripod, but you may need a bigger one, or rig some other way to keep it steady and focused on your canvas while you trace.

Projected display is very bright and large, suitable for TV or animation. I give this for 5 stars because at this price and small size, it is very useful and portable. For the quality I was wondering the native resolution because the manual says it is suitable for pictures, movies, TV, but not for presentation. I mad some static 1080p and 720p PNG file and used the USB photo to display with loss of conversion from TV stick or YouTube, and obviously found it scales down the image and makes each white line that has 1 pixel apart became distorted and inequal pitch. However, with 720p test image it looks fine, so the native or processed image to be projected is 720 pixel, not full HD 1080p. As shown in 1080 HD TV test pattern, small circle moire pattern is exactly the same as eye saw in projected, not due to camera or photo scale down.

The media could not be loaded. A friend of mine recommended this projector and brand for watching movies, TV shows and videos online. It is a small and compact projector. It is easy to setup, it includes an HDMI cable, AV, power adapter (of course it has to) and a stand. If you are planning to connect to your phone you need to get the adapter if you have an iOS device. It includes a stand that is easy to mount. For the remote batteries are not included, which is okay. You can use the wall from a short or far distance. The projector allows the user to adjust the image for maximum resolution and for HD viewing. I have used it every night to watch my favorite shows and movies with family. We all love it and it worth it considering all of the versatility the SOPYOU Projector offers.

Update 12/20/22: Received an email from a @gmail.com account trying to offer an upgrade, or an amazon gift card to buy another. (we already ponied up the money to get a name brand from a big box store so I declined.) They pushed forward and offered to pay for the one we bought if I give my paypal info. I obviously declined. They offered to send a bank card but at this point I'm very skeptical over the legitimacy of the contact. So I ended contact. So seller if that was you in earnest, I'd advise a more professional email name and to clear the air here. If that wasn't you, my sales info got leaked and I'm quite alarmed. Was excited to receive this. Picture in dark room was great but there were three dead pixels from the start. Ad, unboxing video in ad, and manual show a tripod which was missing. If there were just one issue, I'd give it a second chance, but I don't want to exchange it for another that could potentially only correct one of those issues. Not a bad budget buy though if you don't get unlucky like me.
