I have been using this for a couple of weeks and have repeatedly tested it to see if it lives up to the cooling claims. It does not. In the best-case scenario, this will cool the items down about 14 degrees F lower than the air temperature in the room. If you are starting off with already cold products, it will keep them cool longer. I was unable to get the temperature inside to below 61 degrees. You can get a slightly lower temperature if you put a small blue ice pack in there - I put two small blue ice packs in and got the temperature down to 57 degrees and maintained that temperature for several hours. There are two downsides to this fridge - 1) It will heat up the room you have it in. I had it in a 12x10 room and it increased the air temperature in the room by 1.3 degrees F - this was consistent. 2) The green light (for cooling) on the back of the fridge is very bright. If you are keeping this in a bedroom, it will light up the entire room.

This is a nice little fridge to keep things cool. It’s great in the summertime to keep eye gel, for example, as it feels cool and refreshing when applying. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t keep anything in it that truly needs to be refrigerated, like medication. Also, it seems to heat up the surrounding air, which I don’t love.

This mini fridge is using thermoelectric effect to cool space inside. It's safe to store liquid medications or cosmetics that cannot be frozen as thermoelectric fridges doesn't cool below 32F. Fridge came with several shelf configurations. I placed logging thermometer on second shelf first and got around 40F. Floor temperature is below 40F. Fridge comes with 120V power cord and 12V car cigarette lighter power adapter. You can use it as a fridge or as a warmer. Switch on the back can turn this refrigerator into heat pump or reverse heat and cold sides. Front door has a rubber seal and magnetic latch. There's also internal LED strip around the mirror. Capacitive touch switch placed behind the mirror near the bottom of the door allows you to select one of 3 LED strip luminance levels. I use it to store my medications. It's a lot more convenient than to store them in the regular fridge as I can take this small fridge for a road trip and use it as "rechargeable" cooler. Before I had to use ice cooled pouches but now I just throw this little fridge into my car and keep it plugged for the entire trip.

Bought this item and for the first month, it worked well. I tolerated the condensation that occurred inside the fridge. After a month, I noticed the led mirror was loose. I had to push it into the door panel but eventually, it fell off. I saw it was held by some double stick tape and padded with styrofoam from the inside which seemed a little to thick. It still works as a fridge but I've lost the mirror, which renders it somewhat pointless. I tried contacting customer service and the seller but just got the run around. Would not recommend purchasing this item.
