I am always hesitant about purchasing anything mechanical online. I really needed something to clear limbs and using a hand pruning saw just wasn’t cutting it (pun intended). I saw this early in the morning and it offered same day delivery and it had special pricing, so I ordered it and it arrived 2 hours later! It did not take long to charge the battery, maybe 30-40 minutes. Never having used any chain saw I was pretty nervous. I worked with this little chain saw for over 2 hours and the battery never gave out. I got done in 2 hours what would have taken me 2 days to do with the manual pruning saw. The chain saw is lightweight and the pistol grip is comfortable and makes maneuvering the saw easy. I comes with two battery packs so you always have a spare, it also came with an extra chain, screw driver and wrench for routine maintenance. The included instructions were clear and easy to understand. This tool is going to be a real time saver. Could not get my video uploaded to show how quickly it cut through a 4” limb.     • Small - and gets the job DONE!
I had my doubts as to how effective this mini chain saw would be. WoW! Was i ever wrong! I tore down an old carport (all wood) and need to cut up the sections so i can fit them in a burn barrel. I also have a pile of downed tree limbs to see the same fate. I charged both batteries and when I was ready to use, I oiled up the chain with a good healthy coating of bar oil. And then I went for it. The tree limbs (up to 4" diameter) were cut up in no time at all. The unit is nice and light, so tool fatigue was pretty much non-existent. I then started on the carport (same battery) cutting down 2x4's with hardly any effort at all. I did get to a couple 4x4's - and it did take a bit longer to cut through - but again - the tool fatigue was minimal. I cut up a few more - and then had to give it up to tend to other things. All on one battery charge! Clean up was fast and easy. All-in-all, I am 100% pleased with the tool. It did the job - and it did it well. ... show more

    • Easy to use.
This has been a good little tool so far. Everyone laughed at me for ordering it but I have been able to get a lot of work done with this thing. It cuts great. It's easy to use. It will cut a little bigger than what it says if you move it around the log. Being 53, I didn't want to try my hand at a big chainsaw but I've had a lot of storm damage lately. This has enabled me to make the branches that have fallen more manageable. I've also been pruning and trimming other trees in my yard and it's work wonderfully. The only downfall is the battery life is very short. It does come with two batteries so that's helpful but I generally only get about 45 mins out of each. I guess that's the universes way of telling me it's time to take a break. Regardless, I'm happy with this purchase and recommend it. ... show more

Ok, I’m a female and I needed to cut up a very big tree limb but I didn’t want to try to use a chainsaw. I was skeptical because this one looked too small. But it worked great. It feels like a power drill in my hand. Very powerful. Easy to use. Absolutely did the job. And it didn’t take long. You need to buy some Bar & Chain oil which you can easily find at a hardware store for about $6. Squeeze it on the chain (squeeze bottle included). That’s it! Great purchase! ... show more

I have a confederate rose that grows from the ground to 15' tall each year. If you don't cut it back, it doesn't look good, and the limbs become more numerous. I hadn't cut it back in 2 years, as hand clippers would no longer work. This chainsaw worked great! I used short bursts, usually under 15 seconds. It took about an hour to cut and move the limbs to get at the new limbs, because there were over 30 of them. But if I hadn't had to stop and move things, I could have done this in 15-20 minutes easily. I have a picture here of the largest cut, and it was about 4 inches. I highly recommend that you keep your thumb off of the safety trigger while not using. It's so light and easy to use, it would be very easy to accidentally turn this on and cut yourself. Also, wear safety glasses. I didn't need ear plugs. The motor held up and one battery was enough to do all of that. I used it for about an hour. Towards the end, I started running it in longer bursts, e.g., over 30 seconds, and on the last cut it turned off and would not restart. I was at a stopping place anyway, so I took a shower, and afterwards it turned on again, so it wasn't the battery, it was a motor overheat. Overall, I think that's excellent performance and was pleasantly surprised it hadn't overheated earlier. I did buy some chainsaw oil (https://amzn.to/3Tsiiuk) and a drop bottle (https://amzn.to/3LrXscq), and put a little on the chain before and after use. When you're finished, I recommend taking the battery out and removing the cover to clean the sprocket underneath - debris gets wound around it and you'd never know if you didn't look. It's easy to do, plus you can tighten the chain if needed. I then added a little oil, ran it to lubricate the chain, removed the battery, and wiped it down before storing. The carrying case is great and has 2 inner pockets for storing the batteries, tools, charger, and instructions. Nice touch! I was looking at 6" models and was disappointed when I opened the box and discovered I'd accidentally ordered a 4" model. The extra 2 inches would have been nice, but this still does the job, and I'm keeping it. It's a huge relief to not have to ask someone with a chainsaw to come and do this for me, and I don't know anything about running gas powered equipment. So this was a great solution! ... show more

This saw is amazing. We were able to prune back 8 unruly blueberry bushes without coming close to draining the battery. Still enough power to cut up thicker branches (2-4 in diameter) that had broken off and fallen after a storm. This saw is tiny but it is very powerful and makes spring yard clean up so easy. We are definitely impressed sith the power and the extra battery for backup although it hasn't been needed for the jobs we've done so far ... show more
