I put the saw through a bunch of work, and granted, some of the branches I wanted to cut up (probably more than 6" diameter), were a bit too much to handle. This is a great product at an attractive price. It includes a nice case with gloves, safety glasses, charger, and an extra battery. It's lightweight and easy to handle, so my wife is also able to use it. I was amazed at how such a small tool can cut through a 2 inch limb on a tree. Noise: Quiet Cut Speed: impressive for size,8 seconds for 4” diameter log Vibration: Almost Non Existent Battery Life: 10-15 minutes per battery under heavy use (It dies pretty fast but I was pushing it into big branches with no break) Battery charge time from dead: 1 hour per battery Cut Capacity: 4 inch diameter log in one pass Chain: Sharp, easy to replace Chain tension: Chain becomes loose after one full battery cycle and needs to be tightened/adjusted Overall impression: Not bad for light use. For the weight and capability it is a good buy for light gardening and the occasional cutting up of smaller branches. If you need to process firewood or take down a tree this obviously won’t work for you. This little powerhouse is one of the best things I've bought on Amazon in the last couple of years. The price is so low that the risk is minimal. If it didn't work I could just return it. But right out of the box, this mini chainsaw was a delight. It cut through branches like a hot knife through butter, and the battery lasted longer than I did: By that I mean that I had cut everything I wanted the first day and there was still plenty of juice left. I used it again over the next two or three days before I recharged it. I had been planning to have a professional come and do some yard cleanup (limbs, branches, small trees) after a storm. But with this remarkable little chainsaw, I was able to accomplish all the work myself. Even the brush removal was minimized, since I could so easily cut branches down into small logs for the fireplace. The savings of not having to hire additional help has now paid for the chainsaw at least ten times over so far, and it's still working fine. I'm delighted to offer such a great review. This little dynamo really delivers! Some caveats: I'm a fairly fit man, generally handy and comfortable with power tools. Although this tool so small and easy to handle that it actually looks like a toy, it is very powerful. In the wrong hands it could really hurt someone. I would advise extreme caution if there are any children around. It has good safety measures built into it, but any power tool can be dangerous if used improperly. Since this is designed to cut things, and since it works very well, it is more dangerous than most other power tools. Be sure that it's used only by responsible adults. ... show more

Update:well it didn't make it a year before it died and stopped working so I got about 4 months of use out of it total but had it for 7 months. I might pull it apart and find out why it stopped working if I do I'll update so people know what to watch out for This saw has come in really handy. I use it around my yard alot and use it to trim shooting lanes for hunting durn the off season. It has also been helpful for brushing in duck blinds. I wish I would have bought one sooner. The batteries last a long time and charge good. The only problem I have found is that when I'm using it alot. It will stop working and I have to disconnect the battery and then put the battery back on but that's not a big deal to me. ... show more
