This chainsaw works very well for its size. I bought it because a large tree limb fell in my neighbors yard. It worked great. It comes in a hard plastic case, a pair of safety glasses, gloves, 2 batteries with charger and a spare chain. I just purchased chainsaw oil. Definitely recommend this.

I got this portable electric chainsaw for my wife to trim branches in our yard and not have to worry about a cord, she loves it! It's small and light enough for her to use for a decent amount of time before she getting tired, weighing less than 3lbs. It comes with two batteries so you can keep working while the other one is charging. The saw has a guard to keep some of the dust from flying at your face, but you should still wear eye protection. Overall we are very pleased with the chainsaw, it works very well for our needs.

Although I do not do a whole lot of wood or tree cutting at my home, I decided to try out this cordless chainsaw. I do have a hedge trimmer to cut stray branches, rogue growths on the bushes, and even tall growths that are hard to reach with my lawnmower. However, when there are thicker than normal branches that my hedge trimmer cannot handle, I really did not have any other options - until now. A few of the pros are: Lightweight - easy to maneuver with no real risk of dropping it and hurting yourself Cordless - no cord to hold you back and keeping you from getting to certain spots Safety features - comes with goggles/glasses, gloves, and a chain guard Convenience - comes with an extra rechargeable battery and a replacement chain Long lasting charge - Cons - do not try to cut small thin branches with this. The branch can bounce around and get between the blades and not actually get cut. Other than that, no negatives to report. This chainsaw is great. It's uses are between a simple hedge trimmer and a full-blown gas powered chainsaw. Very useful and very valuable to have as part of your tool selection. This 6" chainsaw is just great for pruning dead branches off trees on my property without needing a super long extension cord for the ones that are 150 feet away from the house. Electric motors are definitely better for my lifestyle as i'll probably only use it a few times a year and would hate to have to deal with bad gas or the motor getting clogged up from sitting too long. Not to mention the noise factor in a suburban environment. Being lightweight also means it is easier to use when pruning the trees that surround my immediate backyard. a heavier chainsaw would just tire me out much sooner. I love that it came with safety glasses as this is an item that can be far to frequently overlooked by people who do not use power tools on a regular basis. Also, having a second chain really helps to set this product above the competition. Infrequent users of chainsaws wouldn't necessarily have the tools or the skills to sharpen their own chains. Having a second chain means you can swap them out when needed and if you have to take the second chain to someone else who can provide that service, you aren't totally dead in the water. You can still continue to work. Including a second battery as well is a very nice touch. When you get into it, who wants to stop work to charge a battery? I think that having these little extras really shows the thought and the care that went into development of this product. I'll be looking for other items they manufacture as well. Having all of this for such a low price really blows my mind.

Many times rechargeable Chainsaws are sold without batteries because Lithium Batteries tend to be expensive. This mini chainsaw is nice and lightweight so you can easily be up on a ladder. Only negative on this chainsaw is it is not self oiling and you have to manually oil the chain which has to be done as your using it. It's a bit more expensive but seems to better built than the cheaper options out there. As to durability?

I have several of these smaller chainsaws of various lengths and could not function without them on my wooded 20 acres. This will not cut down a big tree, but I have to admit, I have taken down a fair amount of small ones and thick bushes. Great for cutting branches and brush and reducing the size of tree debris. This one is particularly good because it comes with TWO batteries. If you work for any length of time outside you will find that you will use both or can charge one while the other is in use. If you use the tool brand "Makita", you will find that this saw can use their batteries but if you use this battery on their tool it is a different voltage. I tested this on my Makita drill and it turned on the light but there is probably some sort of regulator that does not allow it to power the drill (18 v versus 21 v). I did not test it on the Makita charger, but it comes with a cord charger so not an issue. But nice to know that IF the two batteries wear out you can always power this with a name-brand battery. Comes with an extra chain as well. Easy to swap out the chain if it gets dull and sharpen the used one later... no halt in progress. It comes with safety goggles (nice) and gloves. I would personally recommend getting leather gloves because it is easy to get relaxed around these mini-saws. Another one of the great features of this saw is the little chain oil holder that is attached to the handle. You can prolong the life of your saw with regular use of chain oil but if it is not handy, we "forget" to use it. Does not come with the chain oil, but the little bottle is easy to fill up. Comes with a charger and a nice storage box. Very nice product and even if you don't have a lot of acreage, it helps with general landscape cleanup.
