After using the saw for a week and using the included spare blade I figured it's worth the investment to get more blades. I bought 8 blades more figuring it was a reasonable purchase for future use. Unfortunately debris from the cutting branches entered the vent holes for the motor cooling and jambed the motor and caused the failure of the tool. My recomendation to the vendor or manufacturing company is use a fine screen to cover the air cooling system To prevent wood debris from damaging the motor. I understand this is my problem and I've learned a lesson in poor design of a tool. Now I have lots of spare blades and no saw to us them with. IF I buy another unit, I'll cover the air holes with a fine metal screen mesh to keep out the wood chips its designed to CUT! Art 🎨 🖼 🎭 ... show more

    • The saw was great at first. The supplier was not helpful, but Amazon customer service intervened.

I purchased this saw, and liked it immediately. It is easy to use, light, ready as soon as needed, and powerful. Unfortunately after 79 days ownership, with little more than light use, the motor stopped running. The LED light still worked, and the batteries were fully charged, so I contacted the seller requesting a replacement, detailing my findings. Over the next week, the supplier suggested “The batteries were not fully charged”, and that “I send pics of the non working saw!!??”, and also wanted me to remove the bar and chain to see if it would then work. What is the point of a working saw that won’t work with the bar and chain fitted?? I eventually suggested that if I did not get satisfaction, I would contact Amazon. They failed to reply, so I contacted Amazon, and within a 5 minute conversation, a replacement saw was organized to be sent out to me. Hopefully, I was just unlucky and the replacement will be a better saw longevity wise than the first one, but be warned, if there is a problem, it will be a struggle to get it rectified without Amazon’s help. This is my second small handheld chainsaw. I’ve put the first through a lot clearing land by hand for a year now. It’s held up very well. Decided to buy a second so I could take turns when one has become overheated. The new chainsaw (this one) is quite slack and the batteries run out super quick. After charging them, I will again throw them on the charger to make sure everything is good to go before packing the tool bag & heading out the door. The batteries will already be dead when they literally were just charged the night before. The case is cool however I have my own tool bag. Update: I returned it for a refund. This is a tough tool! Easy to use and light weight. I thought the battery would last a little bit longer but I used this on a huge job, so I cannot complain. Besides, it comes with a spare battery. It is great to come home and not have my arms kill me after a job like this!

Handy mini chainsaw. Quality of manufacturing is quite good and solid. Great for small stuff trimming small limbs. Easy to hold and maneuver. Good value for money. Nice handy tool to have in your tool shed.

Will test it more thoroughly once one of the batteries is charged, but the most solid part so far appears to be the case it came in. The directions are worthless. The translation is so poor you don’t have any idea if what they are saying should be a normal function or an indication of immediate catastrophe. I guess just use common sense and hope nothing comes flying off it, or the battery catches on fire, or it snaps in half. I will update after first use and after several more laps around the track.
