I had some problems to set it up. But after some tinkering (not more than 15 minutes),m the scanner is working really good. Is faster than the scanner I had before and since it is portable is really useful.

The scanner works great. Comes with a case and wrist strap to protect it. Also comes with a quick card to switch modes on the fly. With the 2.4gz it is amazing. I can scan as fast as my wrist allows me. The Bluetooth is frustrating (all scanner Bluetooth are unreliable though), but it's the best I've tried so far. Nice thing is you can slow down it's transmission speed so that it works better. Still fails about 1:10 barcodes when ultra slow. Overall I think I'd just use the 2.4gz dongle so Bluetooth doesn't affect me that much, but it still would be nice to have in a pinch.

Use this for work instead of wired scanners, works great. Occasionally doesn't like to transmit the scan but is instantly resolved using the handy pocket card with restore defaults barcode. Storage mode use when out of range from my laptop with a quick scan of the pocket card to switch modes, then another quick scan when I get back to upload the data. 4-5 co workers have purchased this after seeing me demonstrate the ease of use and value. Has good battery life as well and fits right in my pocket for quick access.

I really do like the sleek design; it feels comfortable in my hand. It's very easy to use, and it scans barcodes pretty fast. Almost a month with no problems and I use it hundreds of times a day.

There was no manual with the scanner. There is no manual download on the Trohestar web site. No response to emails or posted question. Without the setup information this scanner is pretty much useless in the real world. Great features, if you could actually use them. One star until I can get a manual.
