The media could not be loaded. This is not a printer for every day printing needs - this thermal printer was created for a user (most likely a business traveler) that doesn't always have access to a printer when they need it. With that being said, the printer was super easy to set up and use. The printer came pre-charged, so I simply took it out of the box, scanned the QR code on the top for printer setup, installed the Phomemo app, and a few minutes later I was printing from my phone with ease. It really was simple as it works seamlessly with a Bluetooth connection. The printer requires thermal paper, which you have to order separately. It comes with several sheets to test out, however, I recommend ordering thermal paper at the time you order the printer. I ordered this paper (200 thermal sheets): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6VQG18N?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 The pros: Lightweight, very portable, quick, on-demand printing capabilities via Bluetooth from phone or computer. Holds charge like a champ. The cons: Requires expensive thermal paper and has good (not great) print quality. If you're not looking for picture perfect printing, this printer will serve the purpose. Like I said earlier, thermal printing is not for every day use, but this printer certainly serves its purpose for on demand situations. It's light, easy to connect, quick, and produces good quality text and images.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great printer, as a notary public this last week has been an easy peasy week been able to create and print on the go documents to be notarized, specially here were hurricane hit bad and not everyone has power home yet. The fact that it is powered by a rechargable battery its a perfect addition to my business and also to my kitchen recipe and formalas, charges great its small enough to carry in my purse or backpack and the blue color is perfect, the little bag it comes with its nice and soft that protects and wont scratch other things in your purse or backpack, comes with the cable to use on mac computer or can be use with bluetooth and phone or ipad, its fast enough for me and letters are clear no problem for readind or scanning in future. Its as easy as turning on, sliding paper in with black marks up, and printing from device of choice.

So this is a wonderful idea for people that are on the go! It is very easy to use and has a app to upload the items you need to print. This has helped me with a lot of things when I wasn’t near a printer. I love that it was light weight and compact. Fits great in my work bag. I wish it could use your “typical” printer paper. The thermal paper can be a little pricey in my opinion. I think adding an option on the app to type or make the document on it would be wonderful. It takes extra time when uploading documents to the app. Not a big deal but would be a great addition. The packaging was very nice. I think finding a different way to send the sample pages would be nice. Since they came folded up around the printer. I highly recommend this.

The first time I used the printer it worked perfectly and made tattoo stencils like a dream , the second time (and every time after including now) it’ll print about an inch then stop and disconnect. I checked the battery percentage through the app and after charging it for more than enough time it only says 50% and as soon as I unplugged it it dropped to 7% which isn’t enough to print anything. Plugged in or not it wont print more than an inch before disconnecting.

Overall: Get this printer if you’re looking for a small printer. This is your best option. Pros: The size of this printer is incredibly small. It’s not loud when printing. The app used to print on your phone is very simple and easy to use. The driver that is installed on your computer is fast and straight forward. I had no issues printing from the app or the PC program. Picture quality is great. I can see myself using this to print last-minute documents. Just make sure to set it to the highest quality. Cons: The price of thermal paper. While buying in bulk will help, the price is higher than cheap printer paper. I believe the convenience of this printer is worth the trade off of more expensive paper.

Printer comes well packaged, with foam inserts. The app needed to operate this device is straight forward and user friendly. Since the printer comes pre-charged, it is ready to use right out of the box. As for portability, it will definitely fit in a small/medium bag or backpack. The (super soft) drawstring pouch will keep debris from reaching the inner mechanisms, in storage or on the go. Clarity and sharpness of lines, words, and images are comparable to those rendered by a regular printer. And the time it takes to print is about the same. However, the thermal paper is thinner and glossier than standard, can only be printed on on one side, and the other has a faint "This side should face up" pre-printed near the top (as well as a small, grey square in the upper corner). Despite only 10 pages being included, the cost of more thermal paper is offset by no longer needing to buy ink. I went ahead and tried two different types of markers on the paper, just to see how they interacted to the material. Due to the color change with one, and the streaky effect with the other, I would not recommend using this printer for coloring pages.
