While this appears to have most options anyone might need, the instructions font requires a magnifying glass to read. The only thing missing is the ability to produce a delay in scanning after a code is read. This is VERY helpful when set to automatic mode and the scanner does not require a trigger. Unfortunately, without being able to put in something like a 1,3,5,10 second delay after scanning, double scans or more might happen when placing a barcode under the unit. This product was listed as new but received a product that was anything but new. Charger was sloppily laying on top with a ding out of charging port. Didn’t even try it as I just received it an hour ago. If used list as used so I can get new as I wanted. Since it’s FBA I’m guessing it’s a return that made its way back into inventory. Will update when/if addressed ... show more

These scanners are really useful if you have a small business as a way to keep track of inventory, there are lots of barcode generating software that let you easily create and print custom barcodes. I used to use barcode scanners at my local college to take inventory of computers and computer monitors during an internship, i would just scan the barcodes that were mad by the IT department into an excel sheet. This barcode reader is super easy to use despite being a wireless version, most wireless devices require software to use but the scanner was literally plug and play using the little dongle. The most important thing to know about the scanner is that it has programing settings that are only entered by scanning certain barcodes that are located in the user manual, so dont loose the manual. If you happen to loose the manual you can download a copy on the manufacturer website under the support tab. The scanner has several programmable options such as sleep or shut down timers to conserve battery and beep feedback or keyboard language, these are all available in the user manual. There is really cool feature called offline mode where you can take the scanner without a computer and just scan objects and the data is saved on the scanner itself, the data can later be retrieved when you go back and connect to your computer. I also like that the scanner can also scan QR codes which when scanned while connected to a computer will open the webpage on the QR code. The only thing i didn't like about the scanner is the stand it came with, its super flimsy, but i guess it gets the job done. Overall the scanner seems to work fine and its a lifesaver when working on a large inventory, its also way better than barcode scanners in a phone because the scans are way faster and dont require good lighting. ... show more
