Plug in and go-this wireless barcode scanner has functioned perfectly for me every time! I love that the USB fits inside the scanner when not in use so I won't lose it. Pop it in my laptop and it is ready to roll for some quality inventory time. Reads all my barcodes just fine, even the ones I messed up printing. I've only connected it to my laptop so can't speak to its compatibility with other programs and systems, but it does everything I need, and the wireless is so nice to be able to walk around my shop and scan without having to drag my laptop around.

The Topwise G2-B Bluetooth Barcode Scanner has been the perfect addition to my classroom library setup.. I was able to connect the scanner to my laptop easily with its plug-and-play setup capability, and it connects seemlessly with my Libib software. The price point for the scanner was reasonable, and the ability to wirelessly charge the product has made classroom library checkout with my 5th-grade students effective and easy. The scanner has also held up well to the abuse that any item can receive in an elementary classroom.

This scanner took me a bit to figure out but once figured out, I was rolling along. I ordered this to use at events where I use my square app. I don't have the paid POS version so I can't program square to scan and add an item to the itemized receipt but I can use it to scan an item and quickly bring it up so I can add it manually. I used a UPC creator from one of the many available online. To use this in the free version of square, you initiate a transaction, go to the library/item list tab, click search and scan the item. It will immediately bring up that item for you to select and add to your transaction total. This tool isn't the easiest to use and even though I would consider myself as tech savvy, I still struggled. Don't toss out the sheet it comes with, you'll need it to program the scanner.

I don't have a typical use for a barcode scanner, so I couldn't tell you how it might operate in a more typical production environment, but it took nothing to set up (just plug it in-- I believe the machine sees it as a keyboard). I scanned everything I could find and, as long as it was a common standard bar or QR code (as opposed to a Venmo, Snapchat, Facebook, proprietary kind of code), it scanned instantly without any issue-- one or two items took a couple passes to pick up. I also then hand-verified everything I was scanning to make sure what was going into the machine was what was actually the code under the barcode (for QR codes, it's not printed by the code, but you can tell quickly if what the QR code gives you is nonsense or not). I don't have a need to use it wirelessly, and I have way too many wireless things happening here already to feel like I could test it properly. My expectation is that, as it functions as a keyboard, the dongle should work about that reliably. That said, I could not get it to work as readily as the USB cable when I tried it after my initial tests, but I do think this is a me problem, rather than the device. The device was acknowledging the connection of USB receiver, as well as when it was disconnected, so I think the issue is configuration in my machine.

I can not get this to connect, the instructions that came with it are bare bones. All the QR codes don't lead to a website, just a search for the info and it's not helpful at all. I got this one because it says it connects to my phone, which I was able to get bluetooth connected, but it won't do anything but beep. Not worth it for me.

This barcode scanner shows up ready to go. It's really intuitive and can scan your barcodes right off the bat. It's extremely fast too. I wish it was a tad more heavy duty, but it's doing very well.
