Description

Ming aralia is an interesting and exotic houseplant that is technically an evergreen shrub. . Ming aralia grows slowly but can eventually reach over 6 feet in height with the proper care Ming aralia likes bright, indirect light and can handle light shade Ming aralia prefers a rich but well-drained soil mixture to help balance its need for moisture with its fragile, rot-prone roots. Ming aralia can happily handle warmer temperatures (it does beside between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit). It's important to keep your Ming aralia consistently moist but never saturated. Water the soil deeply and allow it to almost dry out before you water it again—a weekly session should do the trick. : Water thoroughly and allow top 2 in (5 cm) of soil to dry out between waterings. Feed monthly spring through fall with a balanced liquid (or water- soluble) fertilizer (such as 10-10-10) diluted by half. Young leaves that are yellowish-green are caused by a lack of nutrients.

I’ve bought a few aralias through Amazon over the years. JM Bamboo by has consistently, by far, delivered the healthiest. Their plants arrive a few days after ordering, so even in the heat of the south, they’re in always great condition. Aralias from other companies have shown up half or mostly dead, brown leaves, one had the roots completely out of the soil. Spending a week to 10 days in transit tends to do that to plants. I've had it for almost 5 months now and it's my favorite plant. It did arrive a little smoothed down in the box but sprang back out with no problems or breakage. It's perfect for my living room that gets indirect sunlight. I will be buying another when the shipping weather is not so hot in TX.
