Overall I am very satisfied with this metal detector. It is very easy to use with very little learning curve. It easily identifies the metal and indicates approx how deep the object is. It is very lightweight and has a "cheap" feel to it, which initially concerned me. But after using it for a couple weeks, this no longer concerns me. It has been very durable so far and I feel that I am a little rough with it. I do wish it could extend a little farther than it does. I am 6' and it is at the limit of being comfortable with my reach. I bought my dad one for father's day and he is 6'3". It feels a little short for him. As far as operation - I love it. Right out of the box I found .11 cents in my yard! I have found a few WW2 relics with it. The indication and depth proved to be exact. For amateur use, this has been perfect and I love it. It comes with a folding shovel that actually works pretty well and is fairly durable. It works better than an old folding army shovel I had been using.

Very good metal detector for the price you’re getting it at. I used it for the first time yesterday and found 2 pieces of chain link fence so it def works. Pretty easy to set up and it comes with a bag that it stores everything in. I am excited to go to the beach with my gf to use it so she can be in the shade while I’m in the water and beach looking for stuff. Has decent depth, I found stuff that was ab 6 inches in the ground so I’m confident the beach will be better. With all that said, def get a pin pointer but make sure you turn off one of them when using the other bc they are strong enough that they will detect each other lol.

I bought the MINELAB X-Terra Voyager Metal Detector hoping to use it on various terrains, including sandy beaches, but unfortunately, it did not perform well in sand. The detector struggled to pick up targets consistently, making it frustrating to use in that environment. What I experienced: Poor sensitivity and frequent false readings in sandy areas. Limited success finding targets on the beach compared to other terrains. The included accessories like headphones and digger are decent, but the core detection performance in sand was disappointing. Overall, if you’re looking for a metal detector that works well in sand or beach environments, this might not be the best choice. It may be better suited for other terrains.

Great product, very easy to assemble. Instructions are very helpful. This was a great product to find property line pins that were otherwise nearly impossible to find in dense foliage and woods. The variable settings allow for different types of metal detecting, such as iron property pins, jewelry, etc. Two 9-volt batteries come with it. Great value.

I wanted write a review although I sent this back , it worked fine out of the box , it did almost go dead in 3 hours of use . I didn’t have extra batteries. I did find one quarter , the depth meter seems to be way out of wack . And don’t work on targets that my bounty hunter 4 could find , and I will add the bounty hunter quick draw was worse then both these units. The cheap Bounty Hunter if you don’t mind using sound works just as good or better then both these units .
