I unplugged them and moved the solar panel to consistent direct sunlight the entire day (moved throughout the yard to follow the sun), same thing happened. The media could not be loaded. Beautiful ambiance and no more batteries! I kept buying batteries in the last set. I was not expecting the lights to be on 1 strip, but since I had PLENTY lights, I decided to place some around bottom of bed & in the curtains ❣️ Love it and they come on daily based on darkness outside. I placed the solar panel in the window. There is a remote to also set timer😀 UPDATE: After 2 days, lights begin NOT coming on or staying on. I figured it’s accidentally on a timer? However now the issue is happening almost daily. They aren’t staying lit, maybe since it was a cloudier day. But now I think the battery in the remote may be dead. The power button should make them automatically come on when pushed, so now I thi k it’s the lack of sunshine today… hmmm ... show more

Update: seller sent a replacement set for the one that did not work. They both work now. Are perfect because they are long and they stay on all night long. Ordered 2 sets, hung them up around my fence and when night fell one set does not work in the middle of the string.
