TLDR: This is the most well designed light I've ever carried. This Milwaukee has great utility with the pivoting head, excellent illumination, strong magnetic attachment and good durability + it's rechargeable...what's not to like? My electrician looked at mine for 30 seconds, got tool envy and ordered his own. And I've sold multiple other engineers on this light in the time I've owned it. As a Marine Engineer for 22 years and counting I would say the most important tool I carry is a light. Working in ship engine rooms and other enclosed spaces means your light is more than just a vital tool - it is a safety device. When the lights go out in a surprise black out (of which I've been through multiple) you want a reliable light in your pocket. Two very minor gripes...the clip is in a strange position - it essentially has to be IN a pocket to be clipped and swiveled. And the spot light is still more of a flood than a spot but is plenty bright and gets the job done. As far as durability is concerned my original light from 2021 is still going strong in 2025 with daily use. All in all this is a great light and particularly if you work in Industrial locations where the magnetic action & swivel head can be utilized. ... show more

If you don’t know exactly what you looking for but you need a good compact light, this is it. The Milwaukee USB Rechargeable Pivoting LED flashlight is very strong and light weight. It is so compact that it can easily fit anywhere, you can even magnetize it to a surface or clip it to your pants. It lasts me a while before I need to charge and i constantly use it for my line of work. It is very comfortable to hold and easy to use. Just a fair warning, the head of the light may get hot with extended use, however it only when it is with direct contact with your skin. ... show more

I first observed it being used by a plumber and a carpenter I employed for a job. They gave strong recommendations for using. Like all Milwaukee tools, it is rugged, heavy duty, extremely reliable. The magnetic based allows you to attach to metal surfaces while you are completing a task. There are three modes of light and the head swivels, making it extremely versatile. It comes with a USB charging cord that allows it to recharge quickly. An indicator light lets you know what stage the battery life is in. I purchased mine 3 years ago and have zero issues.
