I use this when in attics and crawlspaces and it works like a charm. Light is extremely bright and illuminates about 30 to 50 feet in most tight spaces. 4 different brightness setting and they all work great. On the brightest setting, I can usually get about 3 hours of work time in before it let's me know it's dying (series of flashes). Haven't tried the lower settings on a full charge but after the dying flashes from the brightest setting, I switched to the lowest setting and got about another 20 minutes in before leaving the crawlspace. Headstrap is fairly comfortable and doesn't leave a my head throbbing like some other headlamps I've uses. Light is a bit on the heavy side, though but just takes some getting used to. All in all, a great product I use all the time. I've used a few other head lamps and none of them compare. When this products breaks in due time, I'll definitely buy it again. ... show more

    • You can shine deer with this thing!
We actually bought two of these. I bought mine because I get our daughter on the bus at 6:30am and it is still dark. I wear it out there with her and use it to help me see to feed the dog. The driver can see us before the headlights hit us. My husband started using it and quickly I realized he needed his own. He wears his to snow blow the driveway. Two weeks ago he was at the end of the driveway when a car came and actually high beamed him because the light was so bright. It is amazingly bright, nothing like the cheap ones we have bought before. It is really heavy, and has to be adjusted pretty tight to fit. ... show more

    • Great headlamp
I usually don’t write reviews but this item is definitely worth a review. It’s not lightweight but that’s not an issue for me as I was more interested in its other benefits. First of its rechargeable so no more worrying about having enough batteries or trying to find some when they die, and it last a really long time on low power mode. I can use it for two days without needing to recharge on low power. The spot light mode works really well for needing to see 30-40’ away. There’s no stupid flashing modes or red lights , there’s a mode button and an on/off button; super convenient. If you’re wondering if it’s really worth $50/60 my opinion is absolutely ... show more

I was the first guy at work out of 24 to get this headlamp. They all had this cheap one that out job have us. After what is now 6 months 17 have realized this is incredible and have purchased the same one. Brightness it's insane I love the different settings and charge last long enough. I bought the second battery and charger because I do 12 hr night shifts so sometimes I need an extra. I will not only recommend this item I'm telling you it's the best one on the market. Milwaukee makes an incredible product. Only bad it's a little annoying putting the strap clips on but once they're on they don't go anywhere. ... show more

    • Good light but stay informed
I have become a fan of Milwaukee tools and have been switching over to more of their products. This headlight is good but I noticed right away that the battery life isn’t the best so I bought an extra one for it. Versus the other headlight I was using it also isn’t as bright (was using the Headlight Torch style headlight from eBay that uses the 18650 batteries and has the 3 lights on the front). Both of these lights on their brightest setting are good but I was hoping the Milwaukee was going to be brighter and last longer for the price I paid for it. It is easy to charge as you just have to plug it into a cord that came with it (similar to the cord that most phones use that aren’t the iPhone brand) and it’s easier to do that than taking the battery out every time. Being able to recharge the batteries for the headlights are important for me (cheaper than buying batteries all the time). I will continue to use this light and it is a good quality light but if I ever happen to break it or lose it then I will most likely go with the previous style headlamp that I mentioned above because the light is way cheaper and the batteries are much cheaper but it is very bright and will last a long time depending on the type of 18650 batteries you purchase. ... show more

    • Well worth it for the traveling technician.
It's very bright ,and easy to recharge from a standard USB. For work almost everyone has a charging port and no time to deal with replacing batteries while on the job. I've gotten around an hour or maybe 1:20 or so when it's on full power. When it starts to flicker , turn the brightness down and it will last for longer. This thing is almost as bright as leaving the truck lights on to light up a spot I've noticed. Very impressive. And also easy to hold onto by the band and use as a handheld light. ... show more

    • Very bright spotlight mode
I bought one of thee to use on my hardhat at work. Then I bought another to use at home. It has 2 buttons. One sets the mode - spot, wide, etc. The other is on-off. So you don't have to cycle through every mode when you turn it on. It's nice to have a rechargeable -- it doesn't splatter batteries everywhere when I drop the hard hat. It is a little bit heavy compared with similar lights. But that doesn't cause me any problems. ... show more
