  • Great tool
The battery life on these is unreal. They the most powerful cordless drill I've ever known. If you buy one of these and aren't completely satisfied then send them to my house.

  • Did you know it drives scissor jacks up and down FAST? Light and Strong like Ronda Rousey
Updates after a year of serious use: 1. Both batteries still charge up quickly and hold their charge under use for a long time... that's far better than any cordless driver I've ever had, no matter what the price. Add to that the fact that the second battery holds full charge until needed as well. I am thrilled with the power of this system 2. My one worry is that the ratchet on the chuck sometimes does not set the pawl properly until I fiddle with it. I suspect that I could lube it somehow to catch properly, but have not tried yet. One day it will not set the pawl and I'll take it apart. 3. POWER YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE. I use this to drive my wheel lugs on my vehicles quickly, and it gets them very close to the torque I'm after... I just finish up with the torque wrench. You have to be careful about driving the lug nuts too fast because the driver will jump right out of your hands. I also use it to drive scissor jacks and have never had a situation it wouldn't work. Even the jacks that have the silly "hook" connecting to it, I just put the hook piece into the chuck and tighten it up.... zoooooom it's like using a power jack. 4. Light weight and very fast... drives 3.5" #10 screws no problem... EVER. Original Review: Milwaukee has always been my favorite for power tools and I have many, including a very high power corded half inch drill which can easily rip itself out of my grip. I was a bit surprised to receive this with both batteries dead flat, but they charged quickly and seemed to give the drill plenty of power. I bought this for a roofing job I'm about to do, rural corrugated tin as you see everywhere out here in hickland. You don't want a corded drill for tin roofing because it gets snagged or cut easily and could be dangerous. I like the weight and power of this little drill, far better than my previous one (craftsman post mortum). I've never bought a holster for roof work, instead just putting a short rope with a loop on it in my beltloop so it holds it tight and easy to use. I tested this for the review just on a single piece of tin roofing and 2X4 purlins and 2" roofing screws with a magnetic hex bit. Easy to smack the back of the drill motor to achieve the dimple and power and speed I like. As I said, light and strong, my kind of tool. I named her Rousey. ... show more

  • Very reliable
I bought this as a birthday present to myself to replace the old cordless I had before. It was kind of a no brainer since the company I work uses these for their crews. As an occasional user I'm impressed with the battery life. Months could pass between uses and it would still be good to go. As an occasional tinkerer it's overkill for my needs but the simple fact that I can just grab it and use it whenever is well worth it. It is on the heavy side and as I get older I'm beginning to notice that. A lot of the weight is the battery. I have the standard size and that meets my needs. The battery has a charge indicator that you ca press a button and it tells you how much life you have left. The charger is miles above my old one. It takes less than 10 minutes to charge the battery and the charge light can be seen from a good distance. Overall I'm impressed with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a good cordless drill. ... show more

Ratings for seller not product Milwaukee has really good tools I love them but I ordered this drill new when I received it I opened the box and it looked like someone had used it on a construction site for a few years it was dinged up covered in epoxy and sheetrock putty I returned it spent 10 extra dollars and got the same thing NEW from home Depot online and shiped to my house ... show more

  • Great drill, great batteries
With great equipment I expected a case to match. It's disappointing.

  • DeWalt (both being a waste of money)
This is exactly what a tool should be, a workhorse. I had forgotten what a quality tool Milwaukee makes and wandered to Bosch, DeWalt (both being a waste of money). The design and features of this tool are well thought out in regards to size, weight, charging, carrying case and more..The power & torque this drill has will destroy anything in it's path. You'll invest a few dollars more for Milwaukee tools but unlike Bosch, DeWalt and the others you won't be looking down, after tossing them in the garbage can, thinking to yourself, "well there's $150.00 wasted". ... show more

  • Just an awesome drill
I have used a lot of different drill's and Dewalt was always my favorite. They are solid drills for sure (or used to be back when I used them, I have heard differently now). These Milwaukee drills are on par with those old Dewalt drills in my opinion. I have been using one for about 4 years now and it just flat runs. I have drilled concrete floors, metal, wood, used it as an impact you name it. I've dropped it, kicked it and just plain beat it and it keeps going! I had to turn in my Milwaukee when I left my old job. I went out and bought my own right after! ... show more
