  • This is No Joke!! Awesome!
This is like the tool you never knew you needed until you got one, and now I can't believe I ever lived without one of these things!! Are you going to build a whole house with it? No, but if you are building a house you won't believe how many things this thing comes in handy for. Any kind of cabinet work is a million times easier. Tight spots...no problem. Around corners...done! It comes with an angled head, a regular drill chuck and an impact head, a couple batteries and a charger. It has an adjustable friction clutch for all chucks, it's compact, but yet powerful, and variable speed trigger with a hi and low range. Get yourself a carabiner with some hex bit holders on it, a set of hex drills and some hex screw bits and throw them all in the handy case, and you're all set for just about anything. I never thought I'd give up using my regular cordless drills all the time, but now I find myself reaching for this 90% of the time. Again, this tool isn't for something like driving deck screws, but for small tight stuff it is indispensable. I also got a small set of hex sockets that I keep in the case on a carabiner, so now small "some assembly required" projects are a snap too. I can't even keep this thing in my shop because I keep bringing it back into the house; I just leave it inside now. It's really that useful. When I first got it I thought it might be kind of a gimmick, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Since then it's probably one of the best small power tool decisions I've ever made. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Best Driver I have ever used.
Absolutely ideal for my profession. Can get into any area and run any screw in any direction. Bit holder can sometimes get in the way but not enough to deter me from using. Best driver I have ever used.

  • Awesome
I love this drill. This my 3rd. Mostly for its lightweight, functionality and versatility, mostly due to the changing heads (offset is clutch! The chuck is great) and magnet on the front. I pick this tool the most often for light duty drilling in wood.

  • Must get for hubby!
I don’t know much about tools, but I will say, hubby was so happy to receive this as a gift! He was very excited & used it right away putting our kids bunk bed together! It works great! Power is perfect not super heavy! It fits right with his other tools! Very durable!

  • Great little driver
I’m an iron worker, fabricator and I have the m18 tools, a lot of them. But I’ve been dabbling in some woodwork lately and wanted to put together a lightweight m12 kit. It saves a lot of space in for sure compared to a full sized m18 drill and 5ah batteries. I think I’ll find a lot of uses for this installation driver. Excellent for honey do type jobs, hanging stuff on walls, putting together miscellaneous whatnot. I can see it being handy while doing automotive work too. Haven’t ridden it really hard, but that’s not really what it’s made for. Plenty of torque though if needed and the clutch is easy to fine tune so you don’t strip screws out or over sink them. I typically throw the oversized hard boxes Milwaukee tools come in, but I like this bag the kit came with, when you pull the tool and charger out, it stores the heads and it’s perfect for a set of 1/4” drive bits, level, stud finder and some screws for those nick nack installation or removal jobs. The magnet on the front is nice too. ... show more

  • Good Version 1. Improvements Needed
I’ve used this for weeks now building cabinets and would buy again! However I wish it had a couple design features my Milwaukee cordless drills have. They need a Version 2 to get five stars. 1. A brighter light. It’s very dim compared to my Milwaukee drills. Almost worthless. So much so I need extra lighting to mount drawer slides. My Milwaukee drills have ample lighting. 2. Accessible F/R switch. Not positioned as conveniently as the drill. Can’t get to it with primary hand, and using my opposite hand, interrupts operation, unlike the drill designs. Confirmation you switched directions is less efficient than the drill design. I could go on. I should not have to permanently change the way I grip a power tool, just to get better ease of use. I’d pay extra for an option that has better bit storage! Call it a ‘cabinet installers’ version or something. Milwaukee, force your engineers to do a cabinet drawer/face install with this tool and I expect a version 2 would be worthy of 5 stars! Or, at least some add on options, that would expand your profit margins. ... show more

  • Definitely something you need
Been a DeWalt guy for years and overall have had good luck with them. Heard good things about this tool and figured I’d give it a shot (plus Milwaukee’s lineup just keeps getting bigger). Fantastic tool. Feels comfortable in the hand, good power for most jobs (it’s no impact nor tries to be), and being able to change out the heads in seconds is definitely a game changer. Battery life has so far been impressive as well. ... show more
