  • Great versatility and awesome portability
I do maintenance at an apartment complex that’s spread out over three blocks so I do a lot of walking back and forth. I carry all of my tools in a tool backpack (Veto Propac). I used to carry my Milwaukee Fuel 18v impact in my bag and often would need to go to the shop to get my 18v drill when I needed to do some drilling. Since I got the Milwaukee installation tool I have dropped some weight in my bag and it fits more comfortably since the 12v tool is smaller. Also it has mostly cut out the need for me to go get my drill as I just use the drill chuck attachment instead. Now I still have to get my 18v drill for things like cutting door knob holes and drilling into concrete as this isn’t a hammer drill but it’s rare that I need to do those things so the 12v Milwaukee Installation tool has become my daily use power tool. It’s lighter, quieter and gets into more places with the right angle and offset attachments. Love this tool, especially the magnet on the front for holding different bits or even extra screws so I don’t have to worry about fishing through my pockets for one. Highly recommended. This tool is powerful and has no problem sinking 3” screws all the way down into solid wood. And it’s easier to use overhead since it’s lighter and smaller. This tool has made my life so much easier, thanks Milwaukee. ... show more

  • This tool is nice
Very handy little drill, and has plenty of power for medium duty jobs. Great size for tight spaces.

  • First ever Milwaukee purchase
I appreciate the versatility of this drill with its 4-in-1 functionality. While you might not need all the head pieces regularly, having them on hand is beneficial for unexpected situations. The inclusion of an extra battery is particularly handy for consecutive drilling tasks. It's worth noting that larger batteries may not be as practical when the drill is standing upright. Overall, I'm impressed with the performance, and this positive experience has sparked my interest in exploring more Milwaukee products for future purchases. ... show more

  • Great competition for the light weight festool drill which has similar accessories.
Generally excellent quality. I have owned the Festool equivalent in the larger drill for years, use all the accessories and love it. I've wanted the smaller drill but felt the less often use didn't justify the selling price. This is a wonderful discovery. The accessories are equivalent. The use of the drill is very similar, though I would prefer the festool ergonomics by a tiny margin. I have multiple tools from both companies- Milwaukee makes outstanding products. ... show more

  • A special specialty driver
This is really a well built drill with some distinct negatives. 1. Forward and reverse button is ridiculous 2. It doesn't stand up without an aftermarket foot That said, this is an amazing product for tight, technical work. I install cabinets and appliances and this is a perfect product to use. It is ergonomic, lightweight, and most importantly, not too powerful. The current impacts are just too strong for appliance installation and driving screws into wood that can cam out easily. All in all, a great product if they just changed that insane switch or at least added an led on the back to show the position so you can see if you need to change direction while in a tight spot and you can't see the direction insicator ... show more

  • Impressive tool that does the job and then some
At first I thought it was a little gimmicky, then I got a ton of cabinets to install and a guy I know leant me his bosch installer. Nice and handy but I'm Milwaukee M12 already so I took the plunge, the offset head is a life saver for cabinets, the angle head works with all other accessories and you can get almost anywhere with this set. I keep two extra batteries in the soft case along with bits and some hex drill bits and I'm knocking out these cabinets like their is no tomorrow, plenty of torque and unless you constantly drilling into masonry, you go all day with two batteries, I do keep a couple spares in the truck with ym other M12 tools, but so far have not needed more than two batteries. ... show more

  • So versatile
I love this drill - it is so versatile. It is also very good for extracting and drving screws, bolts and nuts. Sometimes I use it when i coulda just used a hand driver just because it is fun to use. The right-angle attachment saved me lots of time and grief on a stubborn screw in a hard to reach place. (on a wall behind the air conditioner) ... show more
