This Combo Kit is part of the BLACK+DECKER 20V max battery system; compatible with the full line of Black & Decker 20-Volt max line of power and gardening tools. The drill/Driver features an 11 position Clutch to Avoid stripping screws and damaging work surface with a LED work light to illuminate the work surface, Keyless chuck, 0-650rpm. It offers a lightweight compact design which makes it easy to use in tight and confined spaces. The Circular saw features a 5.5" blade, high torque motor, tool free depth of cut and bevel adjustment and a compact design for ease of use. Everything seems to work fine, but the drill that came with it is not what I expected. I had a Black and Decker drill before and was expecting a drill like the one I have with a high speed switch. This one is much smaller and does not have that high speed switch for drilling which is a big disappointment making it useless for drilling much of anything without taking for ever. Update: After just completing a major building project on my off grid cabin, I changed my mind on these tools and upgraded my rating to four stars. First the drill that I bashed. Well actually the smaller size made it perfect for carrying on my tool belt and it was also perfect for screwing, and I drove hundreds if not thousands of screws with it. I was using my old drill for drilling though and this smaller one for all the driving work. That sped things up. The circular saw is OK, but the small blade limits it and the guide for cutting is pretty useless. You have to look at the blade when sawing to get any accuracy on cuts. I ended up just using it for quick small cuts, and used a generator driven Skill circular saw for 95% of my other cuts. The Sawsall was just excellent. No complaints there. I used it a lot for all sorts of jobs. The light is not super bright, but will likely last a long time on a charge. I'll use it a lot at my cabin. I also bought a B&D jig saw at the same time as I bought these tools. It was far better than any other corded jig saw I've ever used. ... show more

I tried all the tools. The drill will drive a 4" screw and not miss a beat. The circular saw and reciprocating saw will go through wood without bogging down. The light is kind of cheesey but the power tools by themselves are well worth it. I would definitely recommend it

Make no mistake, this combo is not for pro's. It's a light duty set which should work well for the average DIYer. So far I've used the drill and the reciprocating saw. Both worked very well for my projects. I was very impressed at how well the reciprocating saw worked. I cut a ton of branches off various trees with great ease. Next, I cut up a bunch of long but small logs for our fire pit. The was this tool ate through them was impressive to say the least. The blade that comes with the reciprocating saw is, well, not very long lasting. I ordered a new set of blades already. The circular saw feels kinda flimsy, but I haven't used it yet, so I can't comment. The light that comes in this combo is very toyish, but hey for the Prime Days price this was a great deal. The set seems like it will last a while, as I'm obviously not a power user. Overall, it's 3 1/2 to 4 stars in my mind. For the price, I wasn't expecting DeWalt or Bosch level tools, so my expectations were met. I hope it lasts for a while. One note, the new batteries take forever to charge with the included charger. I'm talking 6 to 7 hours. I bought a quick charge unit and a few generic backup batteries just to have. The quick charger cuts charging time down to under 1 hour. Cheers ... show more
