  • Verstaile and handy for tight spaces
This is more of a specialty tool for me to drill holes and sink screws in tight spaces that a regular drill/driver won’t fit. Surprisingly powerful and torquey for a 12-volt cordless tool. The drill is ergonomic with reversible rotation, adjustable clutch with the drill feature that overrides the clutch, variable speed, has a work light, a battery charge indicator, and adjustable, ratcheting chuck that will accept 3/8” diameter drill shanks as well as 1/4” driver bits. The clutch is electronic. It doesn’t have mechanical slippage. Instead when the torque setting is reached, the motor stops and a red LED on the worklight comes on. Wonky, but it works. The trigger paddle is long to accommodate different grips on the tool. Again, this is a specialty/niche tool that won’t be used with regularity. This is sold as a bare tool that doesn’t come with a case, battery, or charger. Those are sold separately. Aftermarket batteries fit snugly and are difficult to remove. Milwaukee OEM batteries slip right in and out of the tool. Seems to be good quality, has a solid feel, heft, good grip surface, and should last with care and no abuse. Again, this tool won’t see regular use but this little honey is invaluable when needed and it’s only an arm’s reach away. ... show more

  • Best small angle drill out there!!!
I have a lot of tools, and some from each brand. I buy for use, versatility, compactors, and price. Especially for special use tools. That said, this little 12v 90 degree angle drill, really impressed me on the first use. A lot of torque for it's voltage, and size. The easy change out of tips, or bits is great. It holds them well, and they don't slip. It sips power from the battery which is nice. The Chuck size is 3/8, so be aware. The battery meter shows up, when the paddle trigger is pressed. The LED headlight is bright, and helpful. One last thing is how nicely the battery follows the tool body. I use 2.5ah high capacity batteries, for this reason. It is super streamlined, and easy to maneuver around in tight spots. I highly recommend it as a "specialty" tool. Will it last a house remodeling? Not sure. Will it last 15yrs if used in certain project applications, I believe it will. Buy near Turkey Day if ya want the best deal. ... show more

  • It drills through tile
Great drill , it says for wood but I drilled a 1/4in hole in porcelain! I didn't think 800 rpm would do it but this drill did . This will be a handy tool to get in those tight spots .

  • If you don't have a right angle drill buy this drill
I was on the fence about buying this one and read all the reviews and I understand the complaints about the ergonomics of the direction switch, although I found it pretty easy to adjust to and it works pretty well but could get in the way on some jobs. I also get the complaints about the length but it keeps it slim, I was also thinking of getting the Ryobi, but in comparison its huge, and the battery is a monster, on this one with the smaller 1.5 or 2.0 M12 battery its pretty compact just a bit long. I was concerned about the paddle switch but it worked great and is easy to use in awkward situations and the speed switch is in a perfect spot so you can set it and not bump it. I bought this to drill the holes half in the crankshaft and half in the pulley for a GM LS motor since they don't have a key and are just a press fit so they can spin on the shaft in belt driven supercharger applications so they sell pinning kits to stop them from rotating. Its hard to get in there with the engine installed and the radiator still in place so this drill made the job go a lot easier and power was not a problem. I originally drilled pinned the shaft with the OEM balancer and used my standard Ryobi drill which required pulling the radiator and turning the engine over until the location for the hole was in just the right spot. It took forever to drill the hole. With this drill I blasted right through and didn't have to worry about where I needed the hole it just fit. The only thing I wish it had was the power indicator like some of my other brushless M12 tools. It is definitely a problem solver and maybe not something you will reach for every day but definitely worth having. It has serious torque for a small tool (well smallish it is still definitely decently sized) that fits in tight spots. The chuck worked well and was small enough but still got tight enough for a keyless. No idea how it will hold up in the long haul for heavy use but I am glad to have it. I should have put it on my shelf a long time ago since i have had numerous problems it could have helped with, but glad to have it now. ... show more

  • Works
Works OK but the torque isn’t great. it is nice to have right angle drill and I have needed it, just don’t be expecting anything exhilarating

  • Game Changer
For a 90 degree drill set this item works like a champ. Batteries last a while too. The small 90 degree head is a RAL GAME CHANGER for small tight spaces.. It has limited torque so don't think that you're gonna get any impact type work completed with this drill. Heck I don't even use my other drill now. I recommend this item ... show more
