I love sitting in this, it’s like sitting in a big fuzzy hug. The papasan design in general is just so comforting. Maybe the way it makes you curl up harkens back to time spent in the womb.. Assembling it was straight forward and took seconds lol. The only issue with the build is the footrest doesn’t stay built if you move it, so I put some tape on it to keep the bar in place (that you can’t see unless you stick your face at feet height for some reason). The size is perfect for me as a 5 ft petite person because my head rests on the top and can use it as a pillow. Not sure my taller friends would be as comfy. If you sit in it too long you can start really feeling the bars though, since the cushion isn’t super thick. However it is very cute and functions as needed, and was a great price- I would recommend for maybe a college kid. ... show more

Received on November 27th, 2024–so, less than 1 year. I loved this chair, and thought it was of surprisingly good quality, but it seems like I’ve hit the threshold on how long the fabric holds up. I think this chair would last longer for a smaller person. I am 180 lbs. If you get this chair, I would suggest being easy on it—don’t plop down hard onto it. This is what caused the stitches to pop. Both of the rips I am showing happened within a week of each other. I wish I would’ve gotten a higher quality chair at a higher price. If you’re giving this to a smaller adult/child, it should be fine if they aren’t hard on it. Love the color. Reminds me of Bridgerton blue. I really wish this thing would’ve lasted longer. ... show more
