The Monthly Red and Hello Yellow pop beautifully, and the Ectoplasmic Green is super bright. Even after several months, the tattoos still look sharp and vibrant. This ink works very well, it does a great job of sticking to the needle and are relatively easy to pour into ink treys. The only complaint I have with this ink is some of the colors are less thick than others so more ink has to be used and sometimes makes the colors not as pigmented, and when closing the caps there are many drops that leak out so it turns into a guessing game of how much to pour into the ink cups and how much is going to come out of the cap so ink doesn't get wasted. Other than that this is some great starter ink that is fairly cheap compared to some others on the market, and usually does a great job in both fake skin and real. ... show more

If you just bought a tattoo kit - toss the ink that it comes with and buy this! A lot of time the ink that comes with the little kits is very cheap and doesn't stick well, and can also irritate the skin. Years ago we got a kit and we used the included ink and it still gives me hives on the tattooed area. But Moms ink is quality and doesn't irritate the skin! The colors are very vibrant and stay well on the skin. Be sure to buy an extra bottle of black since you will likely use that more than the other colors! ... show more
