Second Mikolo machine. I also own an M7 functional trainer. To mirror what most reviewers are saying, this is a good machine. The pulley is aluminum and has good bearings. The seat is wide and comfortable. One thing not mentioned is the back rest. The back rest moves forward and backward, allowing for a proper fit of the knees. However, you cannot adjust the angle of the backrest. Handles are properly located and they are not in the way of getting on and off the machine. The two sundials (upper and on the leg rest) are nice. You can lock the lower one that increases the ease in which the number of users can use the machine. The back also rest lays down flat for hamstring curls. Nice. One thing that does not affect me yet is that the weight peg will only take 4- 45# rubber bumper plates. So in the future (hopefully) I may need to buy some thinner steel weight plates. P.S. - It only accepts 2" diameter Olympic style plates. I'm sure you can get something made that will accept the older 1" plates. One thing I would like to see would be a set of wheels put on the front cross member so the machine can be lifted from the rear by the handles and rolled around. I just purchased a GarveeLife Leg Press/Hack Squat machine and a big part of my decision was that I could move it around as needed. My gym is in my garage and when bad weather is in the forecast, I can move it easily the leg press/hack squat machine. The leg extension machine, or any leg extension machine that I've seen, cannot do that. Seems petty, but being able to reclaim that space in times when the weather is forecast to be very bad, as it is from time-to-time in Kansas, is very important. And it would be a simple addition to the machine. In closing, the machine is solid and well built. The operation is smooth and consistent. I would recommend an impact driver since there are a lot of nuts to tighten down and due to them being self locking, you can't just hand tighten them to within a turn or two. Except for the nit-picking about the wheels, this is a great machine for the price.

This is an incredibly robust and smooth machine. I really think it’s an insane value. This isn’t your a-typical cheap Chinese machine. The steel is solid, every weld is uniform and actually homogeneous to the parent material. The seat is massive and secure. I can’t get over how smooth it is. The adjustments and range of motion are excellent for both extensions and hamstring curls. I highly recommend this product for a home gym. It’s almost commercial quality.

This is the second machine I've purchased from mikolo (the other is the rack in the photos) and am very pleased again with choosing this brand. The quality and functionality is superb and the range of motion is excellent. One reviewer stated that the cable loses tension and the weight lets up during hamstring curls but that's only if you're using little to no weight on the machine. The minimum weight I've used is a 45lb plate and the tension is consistent throughout. Anything less and you may lose some at the top of the curls. The assembly is time consuming (2-3 hours for me) but straight forward. It's not exactly a space saver and is slightly larger than other leg extension machines on Amazon. If that's not an issue for you, then I'd highly recommend it. You simply can't beat it for the price.

To start i want to say that i am a tall man (6’5) and this works good for me, for my long legs, the extension rom is decent, but not the best, but the ham curl feels great. The instruction's are awful it took me about 3 hours to build this, and they were pretty much useless. Size isnt to big but it does take up some space. Im not sure if this is a design or defect, but the weight holder arm bends downward, so i cant use it without a clip. Also the plates scratch the side of the frame, and its quite annoying. Other than that its high quality, and the aluminum pulley is a nice touch.

The media could not be loaded. This machine is worth the money! I was going to buy something cheaper but this one was on sale so I decided to get it since it looked decent. I really wanted this machine at home because it was so coveted at the gym I used to go to. I put it together by myself, I was pretty careful and watched TV while doing it so it was slow, about 3 hours to complete. But again, I wasn't rushing. It is sturdy and big! And it works great! One thing to note is trying to get on and off of it is a challenge! You gotta be careful not to goose yourself on the part that moves. lol Also the seat it really deep for me and my legs are long but not as long as this machine wants them, so when I use it seated my lower back doesn't reach it. But I think a small pillow would remedy this. Overall I'm super happy and impressed with the machine. I feel like weight is heavier than at the gym on this! It must be because it's raw weight and the ones at the gym use a pulley system that makes the weight lighter? Idk. lol Anywho, highly recommend!

It’s a big upgrade from my Fagus leg extension. Only gripe is the leg bar is not exactly parallel with the seat when under tension. Also, ensure the pop-pin is in completely or risk trashing the numbing plate, which I had to remove after complete dorking it. Good buy compared to the other brands.

Love the leg machine. Very comfortable and sturdy. Feels like the commercial ones from the gym in my opinion. Wish the leg pad was a little longer is the only thing I'd recommend.
