Absolutely fantastic device! The Mighty 3 is a total game-changer for anyone who wants to listen to music without the constant distraction of their phone. It's incredibly small and lightweight, so it's perfect for running or working out. The fact that it stores over 1,000 songs and works completely offline is a huge plus. I was a little confused by this product at first, because the language they use in the listing for it is misleading. I get what they meant now, but the "no phone required" is not quite true. If you scroll down to the Q&A section, it does tell you this. The question asks: Do I need a smartphone? And the answer is "Yes." But I wasn't aware I would need my phone necessarily to sync songs to it, if for example, I had wanted to just plug it in near my computer to sync with spotify that way. I would've liked that a bit better, because otherwise it tells you to not close the Mighty app on your phone while it is syncing with Spotify....and depending on how large your song list is, that might take a long time. It would definitely be more convenient if I could either close out of the app or use spotify on my PC to download the songs. Not a huge deal either way, though. Another thing they could improve as far as communication about this device goes is to have the app walk you through the process and go over each of the features and how to do everything. I had to look in several places, including the app, the amazon listing, and the "getting started" website they have in order to figure out how to set it all up. Once it was finally set up though, it works pretty well. There were a few instances of the bluetooth connection cutting in and out, but very infrequently and it only lasted a few seconds each time. The volume control is great -- I'm able to turn up the volume on my earbuds even louder than I can on my phone or computer, which is helpful for listening to music while I'm vacuuming or doing something else with lots of noise. The feature where you can double tap the play button to have it verbally tell you the name of the song and artist worked well, and skipping forward or backward did as well. I haven't used the button in the upper right-hand corner yet, but my understanding is that is used for setting your song list to shuffle. Overall, I do like this little device, and I'll definitely get some use out of it, but probably only in specific situations. The example I gave earlier of using it when I'm vacuuming is definitely one where I'll use it, and I also would use it in situations where I may not be able to easily charge my phone or I want to conserve the phone battery but also listen to music (so mostly when traveling). I may also use it when exercising at home, but probably not if I'm going for a walk or something since I prefer to carry my phone with me in that situation. So just make sure you understand exactly what it is and determine whether you have a use for it. If you do, it's definitely worth it!

Bought 2 - had to return both. Would not pair. Watched every instructional manual, read included instructions (which are very sparse btw), read every Reddit thread on troubleshooting, annd even brought to Geek Squad at Best Buy for help. Very bummed they didn’t work.

The idea is really cool and I love the fact that it is small and so much easier than taking your whole phone with you on a run. My only problem is that I couldn’t get it to download all the things I wanted it to. It took a long time to download a playlist and then I had a hard time downloading another. It’s very possible it was user error but it wasn’t the easiest.

I bought the Mighty 3 in blue as a way to enjoy my playlists without the constant distraction of my phone and it’s been a total win. This tiny player (about 1.5" square) clips right onto my shirt or waistband, so it’s perfect for runs, workouts, or even yard work. Setup was simple through the Mighty app, and syncing my Spotify playlists for offline listening took just a few minutes. I love that it remembers exactly where I left off in each playlist, so I can jump between them without losing my place. The voice playlist navigation is surprisingly handy.I can scroll through my music without looking down, which is great for staying focused on the road or trail. The sound quality is crisp and clear, whether I’m using Bluetooth earbuds or wired headphones. Battery life easily lasts me a week of daily workouts (8+ hours total), and the fact that it’s water- and drop-resistant gives me peace of mind. If you miss the simplicity of the old iPod Shuffle but want something built for the streaming era, the Mighty 3 is it. No screen, no notifications, just music, podcasts, and freedom.
