Description

The Miele C3 Series - A perfect synergy of design and functionality, Miele’s C3 series sets new standards in floor care. These full-size canisters combine maximum features and efficiency with outstanding cleaning results. Superior engineering is balanced with carefully-selected, fine quality materials such as a durable stainless steel wand and specialized ABS plastic with a hard, impact-resistant surface. The C3 series features innovative skeleton construction, making it 2 lbs. less than the S5 series. Other conveniences include a 36-foot operating radius and foot pedal controls for quick and effective cleaning. C3 also features a silence motor to maintain a quiet environment, and an AirClean Sealed System that not only vacuums your floors — but also cleans the air your family breathes. Miele’s C3 Marin vacuum cleaner features an Electro Comfort electrobrush ideal for cleaning low to medium pile carpeting, rugs and smooth flooring. The Electro Comfort Electrobrush is an electrically-driven carpet tool with floating head and swivel neck design for easy maneuverability. The Marin also includes the Parquet Twister - providing 180° rotation for the agile, yet gentle care of smooth surfaces. Marin offers a savvy, self-adjusting Automatic setting. As you transition from hardwoods to carpeting, the Marin automatically decreases suction, then increases suction when you return to smooth, solid flooring – saving you both time and energy. A telescopic, stainless steel wand and long electrical cord, with one-touch automatic rewind, provide a total cleaning radius of 33 feet.

  • NOTHING beats a Miele!
After 15ish years, I’ve retired my Miele Neptune to be the garage vacuum. Still works, it’s just beat up and doesn’t suck like it used to. I upgraded to this C3 with a power head. WOW! This new unit is SO QUIET in comparison to my Neptune and the power head is AMAZING. How quiet you ask? One of my dogs who is anti-vacuum, DIDN'T EVEN CARE! My Neptune, that head brush was powered by the suction. This C3 power head is just that, powered. A world of a difference!!! I’ve been using a little Shark vacuum for the past 6 months because the Neptune suction is meh now. I vacuumed yesterday with the Shark and again today as soon as the C3 arrived. GROSS! I. Filled. The. Bag. So disgusting. Few things I LOVE about Miele. It sucks everything off the baseboards with ease, like side suction. Also this C3, seems beefier then my old model, so that’s a plus. Few things I love about this model better then the old one, the hose is longer AND the cord is longer. That was the only downside to my Neptune, cord was annoying short. C3 is a good length! I swear by these vacuums, they’re worth every penny. I knew this $1,700 package would eventually go on sale somewhere, and it did! Got it for $1,075. WIN!! Here’s to another glorious 15 years of vacuuming. lol. Oh, and worth noting - I have dogs. Miele’s suck up alllllll the hair. Every last one. Even with all the dog hair, and using it a few times a week, still lasts 15+ years. IMO, hands down the best vacuum on the market. 👍🏼 ... show more

  • Loved, then let down
Firstly - though not anything to do with product - Amazons delivery of this was AWFUL. you have to sign for it, so when they give me the day/window of delivery i made every effort to be there… until they kept changing/delaying that window, apparently they assume everyone either works from home or doesn’t work and can wait arounds days on end for them… Loved, loved, loved the vacuum from get go. I was an immediate convert from a life of Electrolux. Bragged this vacuum and brand to all my Electrolux family members. It’s light, quiet-ish, good wheel action, mobility/maneuverability, amazing cord withdrawl that works everytime with one push - completely winding cord back in w/o getting stuck or stopping. My wool area rugs have never looked, felt or smelled so clean! They were all fluffed up and soft again with the LED lit powerhead. My luxury plank vinyl floors need so much less mopping bc the swivel parquet head works amazing at picking stuff up. The bag holds/compacts sooo much and lasts quite awhile. Then disaster struck: i was using hand attachment to vacuum my mattress, seems simple right? This vacuum has done heavier work… well it shut down and red warning light came on. I attempted to trouble shoot online giving it time in case it overheated (it wouldn’t reset or turn back on). I changed the bag, checked the filters, checked the hose, etc. it eventually turned back on but was a bit sluggish so I decided to stop. A week or so later when i brought it out to vacuum the floors, it turned on, but there was little to no suction power and within seconds of turning it on developed a high pitch noise. I went to attach the LED lit power head and nothing. No suction, no light, nothing but high-pitched sound, it’s like it wasn’t making the connection. So that’s where i am at. For 4 months it was the best vacuum ever but dies in the 5th month. That’s a lot of money for a product that stops working after 5 months. And not at all in line with the research ikd done and everyone saying they can last up to 20 years. Did i get a lemon? I have contacted Miele USA and will see what service/warranty is like and update my post then ... show more

  • The only vacuum I’ve ever had that was as good as my old Electrolux cannister
I’ve only had this machine for 3 weeks, so I realize it’s early to write a review, but my only question so far is “Why did I wait so long?” Along with the machine, I also bought two extra accessories to round out the ones that come with the vacuum: a long, flexible crevice tool and a small hand-held power brush for stairs and automobile carpet, both of which are superb. So far I’ve filled two bags full of dirt because my previous vacuum(s) left so much behind. The vacuum is a marvel, really: light weight, easy to maneuver, and relatively quiet for its level of power and suction. The handle on the extension is extremely well designed, and all necessary buttons are either at your finger tips or the light touch of your foot. I’m not generally a bells and whistles sort of gal, but this time I invested in the model that gave me the top-of-the-line power nozzle with what I thought would be silly, superfluous LED lights. What a surprise! The lights illuminate dirt, debris and lint that don’t show In regular light, and now I wonder what I did without them. I can't speak for the lesser models, but the one I bought is manufactured in Germany, and it is beautifully engineered and well thought-out. The bags and filters are a cinch to change, and the seal on both must be fantastic because the inside of the bag chamber stays entirely clean and dust-free. I have only one small complaint, and I mean small. One of the vacuum's features is that if you decide to place the power head in an upright position, the power head will stop while the motor continues to run. This is really convenient if you simply need to bend over to pick something up or perhaps adjust a cushion, move furniture, etc., without having to stop and start. The only problem is that you don't have to lock the power nozzle in place for it to stop, and sometimes, while in the process of vacuuming, the power nozzle will stop rotating if you allow the position of it to become too vertical during normal vacuuming, usually when you pull it toward you. As I said, it is a tiny complaint, and I'm already learning to adjust my vacuuming "style." All in all this is one of the best vacuums I've ever owned in all my 50 years of housekeeping, rivaled only by my old Electrolux cannister, which is long discontinued. My husband is an engineer and was skeptical about dropping this much money on a vacuum cleaner, but I think he has spent more time using it than I have. He is impressed with its design, quality, and efficiency. He especially appreciates the no-bending features for turning the machine on and off and for retracting the cord, and he raves about the ease and cleanliness of changing the bags. So - it’s expensive, but boy! Is it good! ... show more
