Description

The Miele C3 Series - A perfect synergy of design and functionality, Miele’s C3 series sets new standards in floor care. These full-size canisters combine maximum features and efficiency with outstanding cleaning results. Superior engineering is balanced with carefully-selected, fine quality materials such as a durable stainless steel wand and specialized ABS plastic with a hard, impact-resistant surface. The C3 series features innovative skeleton construction, making it 2 lbs. less than the S5 series. Other conveniences include a 36-foot operating radius and foot pedal controls for quick and effective cleaning. C3 also features a silence motor to maintain a quiet environment, and an AirClean Sealed System that not only vacuums your floors — but also cleans the air your family breathes. Miele’s C3 Marin vacuum cleaner features an Electro Comfort electrobrush ideal for cleaning low to medium pile carpeting, rugs and smooth flooring. The Electro Comfort Electrobrush is an electrically-driven carpet tool with floating head and swivel neck design for easy maneuverability. The Marin also includes the Parquet Twister - providing 180° rotation for the agile, yet gentle care of smooth surfaces. Marin offers a savvy, self-adjusting Automatic setting. As you transition from hardwoods to carpeting, the Marin automatically decreases suction, then increases suction when you return to smooth, solid flooring – saving you both time and energy. A telescopic, stainless steel wand and long electrical cord, with one-touch automatic rewind, provide a total cleaning radius of 33 feet.

  • The only vacuum I’ve ever had that was as good as my old Electrolux cannister
I’ve only had this machine for 3 weeks, so I realize it’s early to write a review, but my only question so far is “Why did I wait so long?” Along with the machine, I also bought two extra accessories to round out the ones that come with the vacuum: a long, flexible crevice tool and a small hand-held power brush for stairs and automobile carpet, both of which are superb. So far I’ve filled two bags full of dirt because my previous vacuum(s) left so much behind. The vacuum is a marvel, really: light weight, easy to maneuver, and relatively quiet for its level of power and suction. The handle on the extension is extremely well designed, and all necessary buttons are either at your finger tips or the light touch of your foot. I’m not generally a bells and whistles sort of gal, but this time I invested in the model that gave me the top-of-the-line power nozzle with what I thought would be silly, superfluous LED lights. What a surprise! The lights illuminate dirt, debris and lint that don’t show In regular light, and now I wonder what I did without them. I can't speak for the lesser models, but the one I bought is manufactured in Germany, and it is beautifully engineered and well thought-out. The bags and filters are a cinch to change, and the seal on both must be fantastic because the inside of the bag chamber stays entirely clean and dust-free. I have only one small complaint, and I mean small. One of the vacuum's features is that if you decide to place the power head in an upright position, the power head will stop while the motor continues to run. This is really convenient if you simply need to bend over to pick something up or perhaps adjust a cushion, move furniture, etc., without having to stop and start. The only problem is that you don't have to lock the power nozzle in place for it to stop, and sometimes, while in the process of vacuuming, the power nozzle will stop rotating if you allow the position of it to become too vertical during normal vacuuming, usually when you pull it toward you. As I said, it is a tiny complaint, and I'm already learning to adjust my vacuuming "style." All in all this is one of the best vacuums I've ever owned in all my 50 years of housekeeping, rivaled only by my old Electrolux cannister, which is long discontinued. My husband is an engineer and was skeptical about dropping this much money on a vacuum cleaner, but I think he has spent more time using it than I have. He is impressed with its design, quality, and efficiency. He especially appreciates the no-bending features for turning the machine on and off and for retracting the cord, and he raves about the ease and cleanliness of changing the bags. So - it’s expensive, but boy! Is it good! ... show more

  • Makes My Life Easier
This is the best vacuumed that I’ve had in my forty married years! For now, I mainly have bare floors and mostly use the parquet floor brush. The brush swivels nicely and I am able to maneuver it to get under low pieces of furniture. The cord is of a nice long length and I absolutely love its strong retractability with one push of a button with my foot. The vacuum rolls around easily wherever I go, and it is nice and light. I do use the power head to get into deep crevice mats with the rotary brush and am able to adjust the height and get get great suction if needed, since it is adjustable. I use the brush attachment to dust baseboard and blinds. The attachments also store inside the unit. No more vacuum cleaner pieces sit in a bag hangIng inside my closet to take up extra awkward space, and the vacuum itself can stand on its side to also take up less space. Out of any vacuum that I have ever owned, this one is the quietest. The days of emptying bag less vacuum s and cleaning their filters are over. ... show more

  • Best vacuum I’ve ever owned
For years I was a dedicated Dyson owner, I’m not sure what has changed but the new ones are not the same they don’t work as well and they definitely do not hold up like the older models. I tried a couple of Sharks and wasn’t a fan. My husband told me that a couple of guys at his work we’re talking about a German made vacuum their wives had and absolutely loved them. So after doing some research I landed on the Miele. Now here’s where it gets tricky… I researched a little too much lol. I got so bogged down in reviews that I literally had decided not to buy the vacuum because I couldn’t decide which one I wanted. I don’t normally do reviews but I wanted to do this one because what finally helped me decide was to get on YouTube and watch videos about the different models. The deciding factor for me was which head I needed. Because I have pets I definitely went with a powerhead. All models have the same motor. Cord length isn’t that different. Attachments really aren’t that different. The main thing is to which head you need. If you only have bare floors then you don’t need the power heads, if you have carpet but not that much or don’t have pets you may not need the electric powered just the vacuum powered may be enough for you. Once I decided and got my vacuum I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve never had a vacuum with this much suction!! And everything about it is easy. I truly hope this helps if you’re having trouble deciding like I was because once you make a decision I think you’re going to be very happy. Even though these vacuums are expensive they are worth every penny! ... show more
