    • Great so far and super cold
Color: Steel Gray Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
Review Image by 123facebite
I’ve had this for 3 days and so far so good! I got it for my bedroom to do the fridge hack for breast pumping parts and breast milk. It got cold after a night of being plugged in. It’s really quiet and you can’t even hear it if you have white noise music on. Works super well so far.

    • Awesome Frig
Color: Steel Gray Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
I literally cannot hear it. Moreover, when I pressed my hand on the side to verify that it was running, I could barely feel it. I placed it on a chrome wire shelf and assumed I would need some kind of vibration damper. Maybe the wire shelving absorbs vibration in some way. But this operates like it has no motor. I put an outdoor digital thermometer inside and the first morning after leaving it closed all night I was disappointed to see it was 38 degrees (I had expected more), but monitoring it further, it gets down to 34 degrees regularly, and once I even saw 33. So this frig is cold (I have it set on max). I would strongly suggest this model over their previous model that has a freezer compartment inside. I mean, Midea got this one right without any question. ... show more

    • This Is a Beverage Chill Box. Not Cold. Do Not Buy.
Color: Black Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
Do not buy this 1.7 cu in midea merm17boabb model labelled as a refridgerator. This is a soda and beer chiller and is not cold enough to constantly keep fresh food safely below 40F. I own a Midea freezer unit that works excellent so that is why I bought this 1.7 cut in unit. I have tested temperature with my IR gun (a digital temperature gun) and the temperature ranges up to 50 degrees and that should not be acceptable to have on the market as a refridgerator to keep fresh food in. I am writing this unit as a $110 loss. I am not bashing the brand but Midea really let me down with this chill box. When I read the specs it stated between approx 35 F to 50F band I thought that could be controlled by thermostat and I was wrong. I have tested this unit and checked temperature with my IR gun. Even with the thermostat line probe sensor mounted near the door, the refridgerator system is not capable of cooling properly to near 40 degrees even throughout the whole box. I even put computer cooling fans on the compressor to help it cool better and it still would not cook properly for food storage in the box. This is only a beverage chill box and totally useless for safe food storage. I have been taking frozen items out of my Midea freezer to keep the little Midea 1.7 cool enough but even then my frozen item defrost overnight when it should take a day or two. Do not buy this Midea model for food storage. Good luck! ... show more

Color: Steel Gray Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
This looks so sleek compared to the one I replaced it with and clean works beautifully thank you very much-surprising how much room there is with no freezer

    • Good for drinks, not food
Color: Black Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
Purchased the 1.7 cu ft. version without the freezer. Luckily I purchased this as a drink cooler, because the temperature never seems to dip below 40° on the coldest setting. Otherwise this would not be a good option for food. UPDATE: found out that if you put things closer to the back Corners they are much colder. The problem is poor circulation UPDATE: found out that things that are closer to the back corners are much colder than on the shelves. The problem is poor circulation ... show more

    • Excellent Value!
Color: Steel Gray Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
This is a wonderful investment and it’s quiet. I hear the smallest sound when the compressor is running but is very quiet for any room in the house. The size inside is also larger than anticipated. Things are laid out well and it’s easy to move or retrieve things.

    • Excellent purchase.
Color: Steel Gray Size: 1.7 Cubic Feet
This is perfect in my room! Cold enough to keep a clay pack very cold (direct from freezer) overnight.
