We had some really weird issues with getting our package. I dont think it was the actual seller, but Amazon customer support was a headache just to find out where it was and even worse at understanding. They immediately wanted to cancel our order instead of figuring out what went wrong. Eventually, weeks late (I think the seller had to ship it again honestly, but again I think something happened at the Amazon facility or with the actual post) the air conditioner arrived. We chose the payment plan option and now that it's here we have no regrets. This works much better then we anticipated, we were trying to cool a small living room and this bad boy changes the temptress throughout the house. Its not significant upstairs where it feels like an ice box but versus how it's felt like a sauna and now just feels warm it's pretty amazing. We love our AC. The payment plan is automatic or you can pay it early when pay hits, it's super easy and convenient. Forget about it or don't, they take care of it. It was easy to set up, including connecting it to our phones and its just as easy to move. We switched windows. You can hear it, and it's a bit loud but not really in an annoying way. It's just the normal easy to forget noise similar to a fan. If you are hot and looking at this, buy it. It's made this month bearable (I'm 9 months pregnant if another uncomfortable Mama is wondering about some relief, this will do it)

Had a Della that lasted just 2 years then it just died. Bought this one after looking at all the reviews and we are a few days/nights into it and Media is doing better than expected. Its a 12x15 bedroom in a 5,000 square foot house so much easier and cheaper to spot cool down to 62 while sleeping. Having to increase the temperature to about 65 or 66 at night, just flipping cold LOL. Love the follow me option on the remote due to the unit being on the other side of the room and the remote being on the nightstand. I do pull it out away from the corner a little more to ensure that it can breath for the great performance that it has already proven it can do, then push it back int he corner as shown in my pic during the day getting it out of the way. The window kit is much better quality than the former appliance. You can see in my pic, i give the window kit a personal finishing touch making it looks much better. OVER ALL - great product, amazing performance, a little loud in high but almost nothing on low or medium once the room hit the desired temp. I am very happy! BTW - per the box (in very good shape with excellent packing) its looking like Media offers at home repairs since they mention a technician needing to come out for service, haven't confirmed but step in the right direction for something that is almost $600.00.

I purchased this product "Used-Very Good" for ~$298.00. I live in New Mexico and my bedroom faces West and gets very hot during the summer (top floor, no shading). It's wintertime now, but this is when AC's are on sale so I started searching. I'm always confused on what to purchase based on reviews on Amazon because they are always so mixed. I figured, if I purchase and it doesn't work as expected, I would just return. I purchased this due to being 14,000 Btu, having a remote control and also being able to control it with my iPhone. I received it today and set it up. Was pretty quick, no issues at all with connecting exhaust hose to window. I didn't put window seals it came with because again, it's winter so I just wanted to test it, but I did connect everything else as instructed. Oh, forgot to mention, this unit it HEAVY! I had to carry it upstairs and it was a beast to carry. Once up the stairs, I was able to roll it since it does have wheels which was a huge help. I mean, even getting the box into the door was a challenge by myself and I consider myself pretty strong. After powering the unit on I tested the buttons on the unit itself. The unit turned on and I tested the auto, cool and fan modes. My room was reading 72 degrees F and I set the cooling to 67 degrees F. In no time, the cooling function turned on and started to blow very cold air. I turned the unit to high and was surprised by the power. Blows out a LOT of air. Another thing that impressed me was the low noise level. It wasn't bad at all. I'm a light sleeper and don't see that I would have any issue with the noise level. I'm very happy about that. I was also reading through another review that stated the unit didn't come with a filter and there is actually a picture of the back "panel" shown pulled off and the filter looks missing. I checked mine too and couldn't find the filter. Then I realized the panel you pull off is the filter!! LOL. You can definitely see the filter built into the back panel. Just in case anyone else is looking for it. Next, I checked the remote and just like the and it is very responsive. Everything works. Once of the features I really like is that you can turn off the LED when you sleep. I cannot sleep with a lot of light so this is a great feature. Last, I downloaded the app on my iPhone. All the features of the remote control are available on the phone app and again, it is very responsive. I tested all the functionalities and they all worked. I’m glad I decided to order and try it out because this one is a keeper for me. Finished all the tests and ran it for about 4 hours and everything is working great. No weird smells, all functions are working and most of all, it is very cold. Just what I needed for next summer. If when I use it next year there is anything funky, I’ll make sure to update this but I don’t foresee any issues at this point.
