Our old air conditioner was so loud and would only run properly if it was on constant fan. Our electric bills in the summer were outrageous and it didn’t even cool our downstairs very well. My husband researched this brand and type of window a/c unit and was pleased with his findings. He purchased this air conditioning unit because of its efficiency, cooling output, and quietness. It cools our entire 900 sq. ft. downstairs very comfortably without being too stuffy or too cold. We keep it at 74 degrees on the Economy Saver setting and we have had no complaints. It runs much quieter and more efficiently than expected. It was easy to install and set up. My husband just turned it to Economy Saver, set the temperature where we wanted it, turned the unit on, and in no time at all we were feeling cool and comfortable. We recently used it continuously, during a heatwave of 90+ degree days, and we were very comfortable indoors. The remote control is an added bonus too. My husband loves controlling the a/c from his recliner! It might seem expensive at first, but it is well worth the price. We just got our first electric bill since using this a/c unit and we couldn’t believe the savings. Our bill was about half of what it used to be with our old unit. My husband figures that just with the money we are saving on our electric bill the air conditioner will have paid for itself by the end of this summer. Great value for the money.

The Midea U Shaped Window Air Conditioner was excellent. I am so happy to own it. The Installation was straightforward in the video on the QR code, it helped me a lot in setting the machine up, the process only took me a few minutes to do. The overall feeling the machine look amazing it fit very well into the environment I was going for. It’s a great value. I gladly spend my money on this. Also this air conditioner cool down the room the fastest I ever seen. It was very quiet that I could sleep without worrying of being woken up by the noise, and the instructions on how to use it was clear and defined, there were a lot of modes that would help in any situation. It also came with a remote control. I would definitely recommend it as it was one of if not easiest and cheapest air conditioner, I ever installed.

After using this Midea U-Shaped 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner for several weeks, I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations. The installation took a little time because of the mounting bracket, but once everything was secured, it felt very stable and well-supported. The cooling performance is excellent. My large living area cools down much faster than with my previous window unit, and the temperature remains consistent even during hot afternoons. One of the biggest surprises was how quiet it is. I can comfortably watch TV, work, or sleep without the constant loud compressor noise that comes with traditional window AC units. I also really like the U-shaped design. Being able to open the window for fresh air while still keeping the air conditioner installed is a feature I didn’t realize I would appreciate so much. It also allows more natural light into the room compared to standard window units. The Wi-Fi connectivity has been very convenient. I often turn the unit on before arriving home, and having control from my phone makes a noticeable difference in comfort. So far so good! I have an older 50’s home with a mini split off the kitchen(opposite side of my rooms/office/living room) and really needed something that cooled my rooms, not my kitchen lol I got this for the design as my sofa is against my only two windows available for an ac I watched the guys video on here and it took me about 30 minutes to do. Only issue I had was getting the outside bracket to touch my siding on my house, it just kinda floats? No matter how much I adjust the arms. Works amazing, cooled my 1000 sq foot area (including my kitchen) and is soooooo quiet! Sealing was easy too for an older home with uneven window frames :) Connected easily to the app too! The quietest ac ever, it’s quieter than my oscillating big store fan ;)

This lovely AC unit,super easy installation and the sturdy supporting brackets perfectly holding the weight and securely locks the AC unit in place,prevent damaging the window.This AC quietly blows desired cool air and keep room cool,I don’t even feel the AC blowing air due to the quietness.Importantly,this AC design in the way that allows to open and close the window with the AC installed on the window.I can use the app to control the temperature home or remotely away from home.The price is within the affordable range and worth every dollar spent.I would highly recommend this unit to anyone that currently looking for a new AC.

I was a little hesitant to buy this unit because I had read that the installation was more involved than a standard window AC unit. While it is more involved, it wasn’t nearly as difficult as I expected. Taking your time and following the instructions made the installation straightforward. As for the noise level, I have an older, traditional window AC in another room. Walking between the two rooms, I don’t notice a significant difference in noise. I don’t have equipment to measure decibel levels, so this is only my personal experience. If you are buying this unit primarily for its quiet operation, just be aware that it may not seem much quieter than a traditional window unit. The remote control also has a very narrow line of sight. In my experience, it works reliably only when I am directly in front of the unit. If I am off to either side, it often doesn’t respond. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. Despite the slightly more involved installation, it was easier than I anticipated.
