Such a shame, AC Arrived damaged with a massive dent in the back, due to this the AC does not function properly. The manufacturer's box and the shipping box are both in pristine condition with no evidence of damage, which leads me to believe this was damaged at the manufacturer with their QC department not catching it.... ... show more

    • Stay FAR away from this device if u want WiFi/Matter connectivity
BE WARNED: Although this device claims to be WifiMatter compatible, the AC Midea App is no longer supported and the "Smart Home" App that they encourage you to use does NOT connect to its home servers at all leaving u in a state of limbo while trying to add the AC to the app. If you decide to forgo the app and use matter, which is what I was forced to do, their matter controller consists of a tiny thumb-drive type of device which receives no firmware/matter upgrades. As a result of this poor matter implementation, the device is constantly going unresponsive on HomeKit/Apple Home App. Was going to immediately return the device, but since I had lugged it upstairs and Amazon offered a $100 refund I decided to keep it and buy an IR Blaster to operate it securely and reliably with the Apple Home App. If you're looking at this AC because of its Matter or WiFi implementation, search elsewhere. Their low budget Chinese app, which is shared with multiple Chinese vendors with various types of products, is absolute garbage and there's no viable way to update their Matter in a USB Stick implementation. You can get an equally good WiFi enabled AC for HALF the price. ... show more
