Zero stars if i could. Bought one since it had all the features i was looking for.. that one didnt work. Just an overpriced fan since the compressor wouldnt turn on. Returned it and bought another figuring it was a one off defect... well the second one didnt work either. Error eh60 immediately which meant the indoor temperature sensor was malfunctioning. Ran it for awhile anyway debating if it was worth looking into fixing it.. and within the 20 minutes i had it cooling the floor underneath was damp! It was leaking. Needless to say i returned it too. Dont waste your time just look for a different brand. So unbelievably disappointing and a huge hassle/waste of time. ... show more

Simple and very easy to set up. 20 minutes in this case and that included opening the box until it was plugged in and turned on. I have this set up to cool 3 upstairs bedrooms and it works great! It is also very quiet!

Was disappointed in this unit. It wasn’t super efficient in cooling in our bedroom and brought the humidity up tremendously. Took about an hour to cool down our 250 sq ft room. It was much louder than previous units we’ve had even though it touts low noise as a feature. The installation was super easy, but we ended up returning it because it just wasn’t great unit for what seemed like a basic set up. ... show more

It works very well to cool a space but two things made me dislike it, and it is not the air conditioner’s fault. 1) It can produce gallons of water. 2) It can ruin the comfort of the rest of your home. Background info: I am working nightshift one month and dayshift one month. I purchased it for sleeping during the day when it is too hot to run my central HVAC at 68°F and it is nearly 100°F outside. I live in south eastern USA. I live about 35 miles inland from the coast of the Atlantic Ocean where humidity is frequently 80-90% outside and can reach into the high 60s in my home. First explanation; as it cools my bedroom to 65°F it separates a gallon (3.9L) of water from the air (360 sq. ft./bedroom). That is a literal statement. I am not exaggerating and I measured it. It is so much moister that the evaporative cooling mode sends me an alert in the app that it is having trouble keeping up. So, I put a bucket out and use the drainage hose. It made a WORLD of difference. It cools my room in about 30 minutes (from 74° to 66°) and it makes half the noise it made when doing its self evaporation. (It can run without a drain it just wasn’t working well enough for my needs.) It is cool crisp dry air in my room and I sleep like a baby for 8 hours. When I wake up, there’s about 4 gallons of water (15.6L) in a 5 gallon bucket. You may be thinking, ‘there’s no way your 360 sq. ft. bedroom had that much humidity in 8 hours.’ You’d be correct; and my second issue is this unit blows so much air out of the window that it is sucking hot humid air into my home. As it blows hot, humid, uncomfortable air out of the window it is pulling air into my room from the rest of my home and by extension it is drawing air into the house. It makes the rest of my home uncomfortable. My HVAC ran for 5 of the 8 hours I slept while set to ECO (78°F). Also the air it has now vacuumed into the house is humid and hot, making it separate more water from the air and thus producing a bucket of water. I am sure this is my older homes fault for not being properly sealed. But it is taking a toll on my electricity use and the rest of my family has noticed the toll it has taken on my home’s interior air quality. If I could do it over again, I would but a window unit or a mini-split and call it day! TL;DR: It works fantastic for a room, but is only efficient/cost effective under the right circumstances. ... show more
