My husband researched this brand and type of window a/c unit and was pleased with his findings. He purchased this air conditioning unit because of its efficiency, cooling output, and quietness. We first purchased this brand in a 12000 BTU size to cool our entire 900 sq. ft. downstairs. We were so impressed with it and the money it saved on our electric bill that we bought 2 of these 10000 BTU units to cool the upstairs bedrooms. They run much quieter and more efficiently than expected. It was easy to install and set up. My husband just turned it to Economy Saver, set the temperature where we wanted it, turned the unit on, and in no time at all we were feeling cool and comfortable. The remote control is an added bonus too. My husband loves having the remote to control the a/c unit so he doesn’t have to get out of bed to make temperature adjustments. It might seem expensive at first, but it is well worth the price. We just got our first electric bill since using these a/c units and we couldn’t believe the savings. Our bill was about half of what it used to be with our old units. My husband figures that with the money we are saving on our electric bill alone the air conditioners will have paid for themselves by the end of this summer. Great value for the money.

Great small appliance. Installed quickly and easily, no major problems other than having to stick a piece of wood on the outside to support against the trim (the design assumes the outside of the house will be flat). I installed on a second story window without having to access the outside with a ladder. Being able to mostly close the window on the design is genius, there’s only a couple of inches to fill with foam, and that foam is included. The window closing design prevents any worry of it falling out even if the stand is not completely secure (as you’ll want to tilt it slightly outward so the water drains outside the house). Installation instructions were pretty straightforward and the quick startup guide worked for me. The air conditioner cools quickly and efficiently, and it is very quiet. It has all of the functions you’d hope for in a small AC unit. No complaints so far.

I just bought 2 of these and I love them! The video under my review is the AC on 30% fan speed. Here's the scoop: Our central heat and air is completely messed up, we just bought this house and we don't have much to spend on a whole new HVAC system. So we needed ac units. I've always had them, but my husband has always had central. He was worried about the temperature getting down to what he wants it to be, and I was more so worried about noise level. Well let me tell you... Midea nailed it! These units are so so so quiet, i can still hear my 2 year old whisper with the fan on 100% speed lol. These units cooled down our home so fast too. I downloaded the app and it's so cool (no pun intended), you can see in real time the energy consumption you're using and even the cost according to your electric plan. It's super easy to set up through the app or you can just use the remote, but I was curious. You can even turn the lights off on it, which I love that option for the bedroom! Y'all!!! We are so comfortable!! We have an 886 Sq ft home and even one unit did the job but 2 was definitely perfect. The units specifically we got were 10k btu rated for 450 Sq ft each and it's working as advertised. I'm so happy we got these, I just can't believe how quiet they actually are. Super easy installation by the way. I did it myself while my husband was at work cause I was excited lol. They're definitely heavy though so please be sure to aks for help if you need. I guess I'm a hefty woman.. I purchased 2 for about 870$ after tax. I think that's decent for a great brand with inverters in both. If you're worried about the drainage recall, yes they are installed correctly on these. They look beautiful and well made too, you won't be embarrassed with a big box hanging out your window when people are over haha. These are great and I highly recommend.

I am extremely impressed with AC unit starting with just opening the box . Everything was in tight foam inserts and was very protected . Setup is very easy and the included quick start guide and manual make it even easier . The unit comes with a support , so the weight itn’t held by the window like a lot of other models , and has an impressive amount of adjustment , so it should be able to fit any standard-depth wall , also included in the box is several different types of foam making it completely adjustable and allows a truly custom fit without having to buy anything else. The U-shaped of the unit is also an amazing idea . There’s so much less area to block off to maintain a deal . The quiet feature is very accurate when compared to my old unit , and isn’t even as loud as a box fan , so it’s great to run at night . I haven’t tried the smart features yet , but i’s sure they are good enough based on how many manufacturers included them now . The only thing I am not satisfied with the shiyis a bit slow . But it turned out it’s worth the wait and I am looking forward to putting it through its paces this summer

I’ve been using the Midea Ushape for a few days now, and honestly, I’m really impressed with it. Setting it up was pretty straightforward thanks to the included bracket and easy-to-follow instructions. The U-shaped design is also a nice touch since you can keep the window partially open for some fresh air and still enjoy the view. The smartphone app is super handy. I can control the unit remotely, adjust the temperature, and keep an eye on usage without any hassle. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant, which is a nice perk. The thing that stands out the most is how quiet it is. On low mode, you can barely hear it, making it great for sleeping or getting work done. Even on high mode, it sounds more like a fan than a typical window AC. It’s done a great job cooling my bed room. The inverter technology keeps the temperature steady, and it seems to use less energy than the older unit I had before. Overall, the Midea U-Shaped 10,000 BTU is a quiet, efficient, and feature-packed window air conditioner that I’d definitely recommend.

This thing is quiet!! Compared to my last one that drowned out all the noise I now use a sleep machine cause you barely hear this one. So far it seems to cool the room pretty well. I like having the remote and it can be hooked up wirelessly if you want. We have this in our master bedroom as we like to sleep cold. I think the price is a little steep and could be cheaper but overall it’s a good machine. Time will tell with the quality. We had to do some changes to get it into our window as we haven’t a roof out our bedroom windows so no wall for the anchor points to sit on but we were able to come up with an option that worked. It would have been nice if the arm pieces gave you more options to place the brace but like I said we were able to work it out.
