This game is actually a pretty good one. Many hours of game play and some replayability as well. Cd is brand new and installed with no problem.

  • Wow, a must have!
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
The reviews that complain about how this game is trash because Warner Brothers makes you buy this game are the reason I almost didn't buy this game. I hope you ignore them like I did and buy one of the best games I've ever played. The first was great, but you'll think it's only OK compared to this. I've been playing video games since '95 as a five year old and it hardly gets more engaging than this. Negative GameSpot reviews say that side quests take away from the main story but there are more than 3 side quests that I really enjoyed and I played all the way through without taking on any other mission. Going back to spending actual money to buy things, the only reason to buy things is to get upgrades so stop whining and don't buy anything just play the game and you'll have more fun that way. This game is challenging, fun, and way worth it. A must have for video game fans ... show more

  • The game has continued to improve
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Great game an with all the loot boxes finally being removed you can make a case for 5 stars. There felt like there was a pay wall to end this game before but that has finally been dealt with. There is definitely grinding but this game improves on Shadow of Mordor in literally every way. It looks good and plays well. If you enjoyed the first game this is worth the purchase. There is a good amount of depth and this is a game where you can maximize your time to get more value for your investment. I always enjoy games where you can get more hours out of it and I would say doing most things in the game it took about 35-40 hour to complete. The prices for each version have also come down and the game is often on sale so its a good low cost gaming investment. ... show more

  • Dont let the inclusion of microtransactions deter you from buying this incredible game.
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
I have completed 100% of this game and I can say with absolute certainty that the micro transactions are not necessary and are best left completely ignored. I haven't bought a single loot chest with either real money or in game money (although you get more than enough money to do so) through the whole game. I preferred building my army from the ground up, picking and choosing orcs I find in game. Not once did the game feel grindy and not once did I feel like I wanted or needed to buy a loot box. Thr nemesis system is better than ever. The sheer amount of unique personalities of the orcs is absolutely incredible, after over 60 hours of playtime I don't think I've ever seen two different orcs repeat the same line of dialogue. They have a unique reaction to every single thing you can do in the game, It honestly amazes me how much dialogue is in the game and how attached I can feel toward a semi-randomized character. I could go on for ever with stories and interactions of different uruks that took place that were completely unscripted and separate from the story. One example that comes to mind is when my favorite body guard betrayed and killed me, and then when I went to get revenge on him, tell me in his dying breath that he was content because "it was all worth it because at least it hurt my feelings" when he betrayed me... And he was right! I've never had more pure hatred toward an AI in a video game before, I had fought along side him for weeks and he betrayed me for no other reason than he wanted me to feel sad?! I HATE YOU FLOGG! I wish you would come back so I could KILL YOU AGAIN. ... show more

  • A disappointing sequel
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Loot boxes were a pointless addition. No needed in the slightest nor do they give you a real advantage. The story was rather so-so, Nowhere near as interesting as the first game and it simply doesn't capture you the way the first game did either. There are also issues with seriously long loading times and constant freezes as well, I had to exit out of the game several times already because of it. The visuals are also kind of lacking when you're really up close, There are a few minor issues with bugs as well. Really disappointed in this one. I have no problems with the gameplay at all, It's the experience as a whole that I take issue with. ... show more

  • Need a new game? Want to play offline ? Or online? This game is AWESOME
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
The single player campaign is long in a fun and engaging way. i do not enjoy playing online, but this game has a super-cool feature. You can avenge other players who are killed, without having to play online. It's a really fun feature. The story is completely awesome and fun. The game mechanics and combat system take some practice, this is because they are realistic and well-designed. The only place this game is not perfect is in trying to figure out which missions to do and when. But you'll figure that out pretty quick, just listen to the NPCs and what they tell you ... show more
